I could give them less than 5 stars, but why? Most of the time the food is good. Sometimes it’s a little off. Last time the chicken was a little more crispy than I like it but it was still good. The sides are pretty consistent. I love their mashed potatoes, gravy, and slaw. If you expect any more out of a fast food place that might be your fault…

Asked for 8 pc crispy bucket. Was asked if we could take 4 original and 4 crispy. When we got home, we had only 6 pieces which were stale, because of course, they were the last pieces and had been sitting around for hours. Took these 6 pieces back and asked for 8 crispy and got them. Took them home and they were overcooked, too crispy, and over-salted by a bunch. It’s time to give up the Colonel. Terrible!

Had the misfortune of going to KFC, Mount Airy, this evening for some take out. Ordered the “Fill it” box which was advertised on their local menu as well as on the window of the restaurant. Was told that “They didn’t sell the Fill it box”. Tried a second option and was told that it would be a t least 15 minutes for crispy chicken. After being subjected to the rather condescending attitude of the young man behind the register, I chose to go elsewhere. It is sad to see how far KFC has fallen and I will not make the mistake of going back—Derek Higgs.

This place is a joke. I ordered the 3 piece chicken tender combo. The biscuit was about the size of a silver dollar, the chicken tenders were very small and cold. The meat was tough, hard to chew. The fries were cold. You know like it leaves a greasy coating all over the inside of your mouth.

Was a little disappointed. They advertise a buffet, which is why we went in, but when you go in, there is a sign on the buffet saying temporarily closed. Out of lemonade in both machines. Service seemed rushed and uninterested. Ordered the new chicken bites, which were good but wasn’t given any sauce with it, had to go back and ask for it.
