Went to this location with family to have dinner. The restaurant was very clean, but thats pretty much it. We sat down and got situated well enough. The waitress seemed friendly, but rather forgetful for the basic things like straws. We ordered 2 entrees, 2 kids meals, and 2 appetizers. After about 10 minutes our special needs son started having issues so we decided it best to leave. My husband took him to the car to wait for us while I waited to talk to the waitress… who disappeared into the back, and when she did appear getting her attention was quite the task. It took me being rather loud to finally get her to come over to me(11min). I explained how I needed the food put into togo boxes, she apologized for the wait and that the cooks are just being slow. Something that I figured out on my own seeing as how there were 3 tables in the whole restaurant and we were the only ones without food. 20 minutes after that I can finally leave after paying 50 bucks(still technically dine in so kids eat free applies lady) for mozzarella sticks that had no cheese in them, the wrong sandwich(ordered the bbq mac melt. Came with chicken strips instead of pulled pork), and fries that seemed like they were soaked in water. So 50 bucks and 40 minutes later I am disappointed and irritated. Also…. does anyone know how to answer a phone in that place? Seriously.

I had a perfect meal at 10 this morning at this Overland Park location. Ashlyn served as hostess and server and made certain that my experience was top notch. The cook excelled and my meal of eggs, hash browns, bacon and lemon ricotta crepes were all perfectly prepared. The bathroom was clean. Nothing could have improved the meal. I’ll be back.

Worst restaurant meal I’ve had in 20 years. Visited at 6pm on a Friday evening with a party of 6. There were only 3 other full tables in the restaurant while we were there. No table had more than 6 people. The service was super slow(It took 25 minutes after ordering for the first person at our table to get their food..and then the interval between the first persons food arrival and last persons food arrival was 15 minutes apart.). The waffles were cold and dry. No butter was available/served and the server was hard to find. (my waffle was supposed to have bananas and strawberries on it…There were bananas, but only 1 strawberry and then runny strawberry sauce.) Overall awful food, poor service and terrible experience.

My Grandson loved the Scary Face Pancakes, it brought out his imagination. During the Halloween season we try to make it to IHOP to enjoy their specials. I had the Monster Mummy Burrito; not a small burrito filled with egg, ham, sausage etc.
