They seemed to be out of everything, waffles, sausage, biscuits and country sausage but we enjoyed what we did get. We were extremely grateful to find a place open on Independence Day. The service was great considering how busy the guy was, he was serving, taking care of the drive thru and running the register. Good job.

This is a gem in this small town . The food was amazing it’s hard to find home cooking. I should know I’m a truck driver and I have been all over. The employee greets you with a smile and a great attitude. Very patient while I studied the menu and even gave me a sample so I knew if I wanted to order it. I did it was delicious. The beans actually had flavor , the carne guisada was soft, juicy, and had lots of flavor. The rice was cooked to perfection with again lots of flavor. The lettuce and tomato were crisp. The tortillas were fresh and homemade. The bean and cheese tacos had lots of filling. I am thoroughly impressed with tbis restaurant. They definitely IMPRESSED me. Thank you Very much I will be letting the other drivers on my route know the food is great.

Had a bean and egg take. Which I actually ordered a bacon and egg taco. And 2 barbacoa tacos. Unsweetened tea and a coke. 22 dollars seems a little pricey.

Was here in August 2022. My two breakfast tacos were outstanding. My wife’s mexican plate was also very good. Service by Valeria was great. We will make this restaurant a regular stop when in Poteet.

They were out of beef. I order a fajita quesadilla and practically only got tortilla with cheese and they put pork instead of chicken or beef. And the plate did not come with alot of the things that it was suppose to come with that was suppose to be included on the plate. Very disappointed.

I was quite impressed with the food presentation and taste. My uncle got a burger with fries and I got the enchilada plate. The tea had an aftertaste as if it’s been sitting for a while and not fresh. That’s ok though. What wasn’t ok was the waitress. Not sure if she was part owner or what, but she certainly had this lackadaisical attitude. We felt as if everything she did for us was a favor and she obligated. She dropped off our food fast and not once asked if we needed anything throughout the entire visit. For us, attitude is everything, this is why we won’t be going back.
