This place did not disappoint! My husband and I stopped by Sunday morning for breakfast on our way back to Tennessee. We ordered the veggie omelette, cheese grits, French toast, and steak and eggs. Everything was so fresh and made to order. Ms. Natalie was so kind and welcoming when she greeted us and even invited our dog to sit out on the patio with us. Her son Dee was equally kind and warm and they even brought out some meat scraps for our pup Truman. And Jeremy was a very friendly part of the team also—keeping the place clean and sparkling. We will definitely be back!

This is a gem of the restaurant. The menu is fresh and for the day. Tenders ribs with collard green to die for ( the best I have tried) with a cucumber salad, coconut chicken with black eye peas were excellent. For dessert a home made apple pie so good that I heard the angels singing.

Phenomenal service, fantastic food. I got the breakfast sandwich and the sausage patties were no joke. Delicious and the cheese was amazing. Co-worker got the catfish and that was also amazing! Shame we have to leave Texas now, but if we are ever near Linden again we will 100% be visiting this establishment again!

My daughter is going back to college out of state in a few days and we needed a place within an hour of our home in Mt Pleasant to take a scenic motorcycle ride and enjoy a nice breakfast. We found Linden Public House on google and decided to give it a try. Boy are we glad we did! The place is a beautiful historic house and from the second we walked in we were treated like family by Darris. His mom is a retired Marine and she came out and chatted with us about some of the duty stations we had in common. Anyway, to top it off, the food was absolutely fantastic! The hollandaise on my eggs benedict was absolutely perfect and they use ham steak and focaccia instead of the more traditional canadian bacon and english muffin! Their home fried potatoes are delicious as well as the biscuits and gravy that came as a side. Before we left, Darris made us take a picture with his mama and the Chesty(USMC Bulldog Mascot) carving that they have at the bar. I forgot to ask for a copy so I’m hoping they will see this and post it here! I can’t wait to come back with the rest of the family!

We love the owners and the food is awesome! The cooks do a different menu every night. They support local artists and are the only pub in town. Definitely go check them out if you stop in Linden for a night.

Our 1st time eating here & we will be going back. The special was Cajun fish & I got the family recipe of Mac ‘n Cheese (creamy) & the mixed salad greens with walnuts, cranberries, feta cheese & raspberry vinaigrette dressing (that was a meal by itself) & it came with cornbread. My husband also got the fish but he chose the black eyed peas & the okra. We will be trying the Kentucky sliders & their version of ‘nachos’ on another visit. I’m giving it 4 stars because I did expect more spice for being Cajun fish. It was explained that there had been complaints of it being too spicy. Here’s a hint to those who don’t like spicy, don’t order Cajun or make sure of the spice level. Maybe next time I order it, Mike can spice up the seasoning on our fish. Other than that, the fish was cooked perfectly & had a good flavor to it. Everyone is very friendly & we hope them great success so go out & show your support.

I can’t brag on Natalie and the LPH2 family enough! Such a beautiful house, great people and AMAZING southern comfort food – hands down! From what I hear, the breakfast and brunch here are to die for! We’re moving here from Fort Worth, and gems like this for some homemade goodness are hard to come by! We’ve enjoyed Natalie’s cuisine a few times now while working on our land and let me tell you, she never disappoints. But, it’s the people for me! I love this place!

Natalie who owns and runs it with her son Darris and a few folks from the community who are super sweet. They make delicious food, and it’s a great place to relax and have a meal. I’ve tried the Catfish (fried & Blackened) both great, Okra, Collard Greens, Gumbo, nachos and they’re all good. Nice drinks and beer selection. Nice staff and outdoor seating is lovely. They have cornhole on the lawn out front too and games for kids (yay!). They also offer live music many nights and Soul Night spinning old Soul records on the last Fridays of the month Sept. through April. Much needed place for Linden Culture.
