Nice little hole-in-the-wall deli! I had the Italian Sub, it was packed to the max with hand-sliced meat, pretty awesome. The pasta salad is pretty unique; it’s nice and savory and has a really nice sneaky spicy after-kick to it. Also love seeing the Great Lakes brand potato chips; Parmesan Ranch flavor is pretty solid. And to round it all out a Faygo Cola. Also, I heard a rumor that they might start serving ice cream too 😉 This is a really nice spot and I’m already planning on what sandwich to try for next trip out!

Incredible food! Priced just right!!!! I would recommend the Italian Sandwich! The cookies oh my goodness! You’re in for a treat. I love how everything in the store is made out of Michigan. Faygo Soda, & Great Lakes Potato Chips!! I’ll be coming back that’s for sure. If you love subs & sandwiches come here. Hidden Gem! Move aside Subway & Jimmy John’s. The corned beef and slaw has to be one of the best I’ve had in Michigan. I highly recommend this spot! Food was fresh, and portion size was very generous. Owner was very polite and helpful. All of the stuff is Michigan made which I thought was really cool.

My co-worker heard about this place through the grape vine and requested we try it for her birthday lunch! The sandwiches we ordered, the pastrami and corned beef, were fresh and the serving of meat was generous. I would have preferred thousand island, but the mustard served with the corned beef was a nice change for me. The pasta salad was very good too and had a slight heat to it, but not unbearably hot. I don’t tend to go for spicy but this was just the right amount. Also enjoyed meeting the owner – super friendly and open to suggestions which is great. Restaurant was clean and everything was Michigan themed which was cute! No seating yet, but he said he was going to have outside seating soon. One thing I would suggest is getting a website up and running with a better online ordering system, but other than that, I would definitely recommend trying it! We will be back!

Great sandwiches and customer service! I had the best Italian sub in years today. It was loaded with a ton of meat and the bread was delicious. The owner suggested ordering the sandwich served hot, which seemed different for an Italian sub but it was delicious! I’ll definitely be back– especially when I heard they will be serving Michigan made ice cream soon!

Made In The Mitten Deli is a unique mom and pop deli that gives you the most bang for your buck. Corporate companies tend to be extra skimpy on portions and overall quality — you don’t have to worry about either of those with Made In The Mitten Deli! I LOVE the Italian Sub and the pasta salad has just the right kick to it to make me fall in Love. Also, you can’t go wrong with any of the delicious desserts that are made by scratch from Kim. I was in here today and its the cutest little deli! Everything is made to order and super fresh! I had the chicken caesar wrap but i cant wait to try more on the menu. Definitely will be back and recommend it to others!

We tried Made in the Mitten 3 weeks ago…we have been there 3 weeks in a row now. Sandwiches are awesome, good size, good price, great customer service. Definitely recommend the chipotle Mayo!
