Mulkeys Restaurant is such an amazing place. It’s been a staple of Rock Island since 1953… And it’s still family owned and operated. The food is excellent, the staff are phenomenal, and it’s definitely a very relaxing atmosphere to just dine and be able to visit with friends and family.

I brought me my two kids my niece husband and nephew. Never been there was excited to try it ! Until my server avoided helping us . She left our drinks sitting at the bar and while we continued to wait she was helping everyone else around us . Greeted a new table after us and took their order , mind you we still haven’t received our drinks. After waiting 20 minutes just for drinks we got up and left and she still didn’t have anything to say . I do not like how me and my kids were treated and I will never come back .

Very good chicken. Breakfast is very good also. Good variety of daily specials. Kraut and ribs, meat loaf etc. Nice size portions. Staff are so kind and attentive. I will say the prices are on the high side but who’s aren’t anymore. Nice atmosphere. Parking is a little tight.
