Second Job
If you ever hated airport food. I will be the first to tell anyone to eat here. THE FOOD IS FANTASTIC!!!!!

Loved hanging out there between flights. It was chill, my server was great, and I enjoyed being able to relax. I got the ‘amazing’ fried chicken and French fries. It was fine. Fries were not crispy, but okay flavor. The chicken skin had good flavor, but it didn’t really permeat into the meat. There was no sauce with it and so everything was really dry (except the drumstick, which was the best part). Not my favorite fried chicken (this coming from a Georgia girl). I was a bit bummed and it was not worth with price to me.

My server was awesome. She was quick and efficient. The food was slightly more expensive than you’d find in the city but what do you expect from an airport restaurant. The Louisiana Redfish was cooked well with just the right amount of spice.

This airport location in the newly updated airport was fantastic. Spicy Bloody Mary was great, minus too much ice. The BBQ Shrimp Omlet was a delicious surprise option, my first time having such an omelet. The Cheesy Grits was PERFECT!!! Overall, a wonderful experience minus the check-in hostess who moved at her own pace and communications. The bartender was very helpful and the real gem of this location.

A big surprise for airport food. Top notch, service is great. I had the catfish and grits, and for dessert the bread pudding. I will definitely come back the next time I’m at New Orleans airport

The food is amazingly good! Gumbo was perfect, the black shrimp salad has great flavor and the Chicken is so tender! Our waitress, Julia, was full of great recommendations!

OMG! One of the best meals I have ever had in my life! The Louisiana Red Fish Plate was so f&@$ good. The depth of flavor was unreal. The peach cobbler was better than my grandma’s… I’ll be making this my normal layover when possible. 5/31/23

Nice dine-in restaurant to experience Louisiana food in the New Orleabs Airport terminal. They offer Louisiana Red Fish with Jambalaya and crab meat, Leah Chase fried chicken, and BBQ shrimp. Will surely go back again. It may become very busy so need to have time to eat.

Probably the best experience I have had with airport food, honestly. When it comes to airport restaurants, people typically do not hold high expectations, and I am no exception. But this place has definitely allowed me a great experience both with food and with service. The server was very courteous, and constantly ensured that our requests were met and questions were answered. We came here on Christmas Day, which normally people would be home enjoying good times with family, so much repsect and lots of kudos to those still out here grinding on this day! In terms of food, the fish & grits was excellent! The breading was very well-seasoned, and the grits completed the fish very well. The Louisiana crab cake was one crab cake on top of a piece of fried green tomato, and as much as $13.99 was too much for the amount, it was very well-made and if I want to justify the price, I can. The Creole gumbo was good as well overall, but not as good as the other two. The rice was old, and the andouille sausage and the shrimp were overcooked. There also wasn’t enough roux. Otherwise, I think a 5 star would totally be it. Regardless, if one seeks an option at the New Orleans International Airport, I will recommend this place to give it a shot. According to other reviews, it seems like a hit or miss, so I say don’t knock it ’til you try it. Oh, one more thing to add, simply amazing music playlist with lots of James Brown, Isaac Hayes, Sam Cooke, etc.!
