We very much wanted to LOVE this place. We’re not from the area and were hoping to find a local treasure.

When we stopped in for lunch, we had no idea that this restaurant had been featured on Discover Oklahoma and owned by a chef from the DFW area. (We found that out after the fact.) The menu changes weekly, if not daily. The staff was friendly and attentive. When we arrived, we were one of the only ones there but tables quickly filled up. The samples of the daily soup were fantastic. I ordered the Chicken Fried Chicken with mashed potatoes and side salad. The breading on the chicken had a unique flavor that paired nicely with the gravy, and I truly enjoyed this meal. Mrs. Flip Out had the fried chicken club sandwich and agreed that the fried chicken had great flavor. Little Flip Out and Littlest Flip Out shared their kids burger and they loved it. We didn’t save room for dessert but the options sounded great. The atmosphere is very warm, comfortable, and it’s easy to see why this place is a local favorite. Definitely worth the stop!

First time there– everything was great, but thought the meat loaf was a bit too dry. Needed something to moisten it up a little. We use a recipe at home that adds diced zucchini to the mixture. It adds a nice, moist taste and flavor, and always gets rave reviews from our family and friends .

A truly unique and excellent restaurant. The food is exceptional. The staff are very friendly. The atmosphere is nice and inviting. This has quickly become one of my favorite places to eat. Highly recommend. Pictured is the Chipotle Pulled Pork sandwich with homemade chips, dessert, and pics of the inside of the restaurant.

OMG!!!!!!!!!! A GEM!!!! DO NOT PASS UP ON EATING HERE. After camping all weekend, we stopped here for lunch before heading home. THE BEST FOOD AND SERVICE. The beef vegetable soup was EVERYTHING. The SWEET TEA!!!!! We couldn’t get enough of it. Everything was delicious. BUT MOST OF ALL.. THE APPLE CHEESECAKE IS A MUST!!! Just go!

This restaurant is JUST RIGHT in so many ways. Great food, great service, entrees around $10 each, and a welcoming atmosphere. Portion size is perfect, which means you have room for dessert! Do not skip the dessert! We had the brisket burger, sea bass, bread pudding, and German chocolate cheesecake, all items were top notch!

We just had a family lunch here on Sunday after church. We had the Crab Cakes plate and it was delicious! It was paired with Rice Pilaf and mixed vegetables. EVERY meal I have had there is wonderful.

Coworker recommended this place and we finally took the 20 minute trip to try it out. The only real disappointment is that we didn’t try it sooner. Our boys got the kids cheeseburger and fries. They were a bit disappointed in the size of the burgers, they were properly sized for kids, but our boys are used to fast food sized stuff. Once they took a bite though, they were very happy. The fries were excellent. I had fries as well with my catfish and okra. The catfish was incredible. My wife ate my okra and she was very pleased. She had the Cajun chicken fried ribeye, with veggies and mashed potatoes. It was all very good but the ribeye was spectacular. The Cajun spice was noticeable but not overpowering. I recommend getting tea or water as the sodas come in a can and you get a glass with ice. We decided to have dessert as well. The boys were happy with vanilla ice cream with chocolate drizzle. The wife had lemon meringue pie, which was very good. I went with the pecan/coconut cream pie and it was the favorite of everyone at the table. Portion sizes.were proper and prices, considering the excellent quality of the food, were exceptional.
