We had tuna carpaccio, Saba & ginger, spicy tuna rolls and marlin sashimi salad. The only reason we give it 4 stars for food is its limited sushi selection. HOWEVER, everything was very tasty. We ordered Saba roll twice highly recommended.

Great vibes! Dined in on a Saturday evening.I ordered the veggie sushi, Geishas dream, and they were delicious! The platter was finely sauced and bursting with an assortment of local veggies. The cocktail was a nice sweet drink. We also had some amazing live music.

Sushi was pretty skimpy, didn’t have all the ingredients in the rolls, and taste was pretty bland. Honestly can buy better sushi pre-made from a grocery store. Not real expensive, but not even worth going. Menu is also mostly vegan? Just not what we expected, sad.

Prep kitchen, not full kitchen restaurant. Doing their best to impress. Spent about $30 and got 6 thin slices of sushi fish pieces on a large plate and a salad. My fiancé and I had the pleasure of eating at Mom’s Hilo on our recent trip. Our server was very kind and attentive to us. We happened to luck out this night in particular, they are usually quite busy but we stopped in when it was a bit slow, and even still our service was joyful. Their menu is small (in the BEST way) they know what they are doing and the sushi specials (ahi and ono) and noodle bowl we enjoyed were amazing. The owner of the restaurant puts love into everything he prepares for his customers, as he is present and working to make the delicious sushi as well. Highly recommend to anyone traveling.
