I recently moved to the neighborhood and have been looking for a go to Chinese spot. After some research, I thought I’d try this place out. I went with a hood classic, chicken wings and white rice. It was excellent. I paid less than $10 for the meal which was more than fair. Service was also super fast and friendly. I’ll be back.

Had beef and broccoli. Haven’t been there in a very long time because my last encounter was not good. I used to go all the time and the food was great. The beef in the beef and broccoli tasted like something was wrong with it. It tasted off. Chicken wings were okay, not crispy. Idk. The food here has fallen off.

Where are the original cooks of Family Garden on Bloomfield Avenue in Newark and the people that took the orders and also the ones that made the deliveries to your homes are place of business They are no longer there. Did they sell the Family Garden business to new owners because I am sorry, the food that I order from there on two occasions is not the same. The food is not okay to me there is an absolute big difference now with their Chinese food. I don’t consider their cooking and food all that great now.
