I bought $70 bucks worth of BBQ brisket and some turkey breast It was extremely moist tender , The meat was excellent ,The sauce needs some work it seemed simple tomato sauce with lightly added ingredients Id give 5 * if sauce was better. But still great BBQ no real complaints as sauce is makes it boss and I’m picky

Good solid experience. Love their brisket. Sides were all great, we had BBQ pinto beans, fried okra, slaw and macaroni and cheese. Their brisket frito pie is super yummy. Nice folks serving up great food.

For me the meat was “just okay.” The brisket didn’t have that smoked flavor and in fact, it lacked ANY smoky flavor at all. If I had to guess, it tasted baked and not smoked. My husband smokes brisket almost every weekend, experimenting with different wood flavor and cook times so we know what we like from a brisket. I will hand it to Sam’s, it was moist. But it’s almost as if they were depending on us to dunk it in the bbq sauce for any flavor which is NOT how I eat brisket. I don’t want to rely on a dipping sauce to make the meat taste good, that’s a waste of meat (I might as well dip spam in bbq sauce at that point because it takes from the fact of it being brisket!).

Some of the best bbq we’ve had in a long time and very reasonably priced. Sweet and spicy bbq sauce was very good. My favorite was the pulled pork. So tender, great flavor and not greasy. Brisket, sausage, chicken and ribs were great too. Well worth the little extra drive. We Will be back for sure.

YUMMY! Our meal cost us $24.00 for a kids meal. Brisket baked potato and 2 small drinks and a peach cobbler.They have a bar a stage and pool tables. Restrooms need cleaning. We did encounter flies. Nice staff. Get the spicy sauce. It’s amazing. Kids plate has a lot of food on it. Brisket baked potato is WOW in size and yummy. Over all really tasty.

I’m only placing a one star not for the food or the employees no the foods amazing & the workers are great people but the owner there is a selfish man. He does NOT & I repeat does NOT give the tips that the customers place after paying for their meals to his employees he keeps that money for himself and doesn’t give them their share that they deserve for all the hard work they put into making sure they give a great customer service. I havent been at a restaurant that does not give their employees their share that’s no “boss”, “team leader” , I see no. So next time you eat there please do not leave tips but if you do I would personally hand them to the employees or employer that served you because at this rate I do not support a boss who doesn’t appreciate his workers.

I ordered a plate to go. I had the turkey breast which was delicious, not to mention, a healthy choice. I countered that with okra, Mac and cheese and a brownie( But baby steps, ya know). I did half my plate with another adult so another good choice. I was elated to find out that KARAOKE was going on and I plan to go meet my next love interest here soon. Thank you Sam’s BBQ!

Food was good, sliced brisket I had was a bit dry but they were very busy. I’ll definitely give them another chance. The chopped beef was juicy, the cobbler was decent, okra was good and the pulled pork was pretty good and had a nice smokey flavor. They had bbq sauce on the side regular and a spicy. The regular was ok but not my favorite but the spicy was very good.
