Food and the service were good however their shrimp appetizer was absolutely perfect! Very rarely do I order shrimp at a restaurant because it’s almost always overcooked. I’m so glad I ordered it this time!

We had dinner there last week and went again today because it was SO GOOD. Truly the food is excellent. Large servings. The other thing we really appreciated was how clean it was, super important to us. A BIG BONUS, for me, the many menu choices…there are only certain foods I eat…I had no problem finding exactly what I wanted. Staff fun and very patient with ALL my questions…and I do mean ALL of my questions.

My husband and I ate here recently and everything we ate was really good! We have the nachos, the slater burger and the Ruben sandwich. We would order all three again! Our waitress was nice, she didn’t tell us her name though. We are looking forward to going back!

Not overly impressed. The bar tender was coughing up a storm and when a glass fell on the floor she picked it up and then plated food with out washing her hands. I had a “pork pile” sandwich which was super dry and the only way I could consume it was asking for a sauce on the side that was “commercial ” and that drowned it out. The bar tender also refilled my drink and confused it with a mug club member and when I reported the error, she did not look worried. The mug club member was not sober and started ordering shots that were $9 each so I don’t think they noticed.

Nice place, clean with friendly staff. Loved my pulled pork sandwich and sweet potato fries. My husband’s ribs were dry. Fries, slaw and corn bread were good. Drinks were good and beer cold.

Fave part was the Carolina bbq sauce and the onion tanglers. The platter was okay, but not my favorite. We will try again and maybe order something different. Hopefully next time they will have sourdough. All in all nice place.

Our son and wife took my wife and didn’t here recently. We tried their nacho plate which was large enough for two. My wife also had a salad which she enjoyed. We ate ourside fowar an enjoyable eveninig. However they no gluten free offerings. The f ood was great.

My opinion we will never eat there again paid $15 for a double shot JD and Pepsi most places would be $8 paid $16 for salmon hit a very small peice of salmon a little spinach and a little rice. I had to stop at subway on the way home to get a meal. Very unhappy to pay $57 plus tip for a lousy amount of food . We advise people not to go there and we will not go again. What a rip off far better places to eat in Newport. *Scott
