We got the Vegan Buffalo Wings and Supremely Vegan pizza and both were very good! The wings had a great texture and perfect amount of spice. The pizza was good, but not memorable. I’d like to try their other vegan pizzas next time!

Flat-out incredible. I have vegan family members and they go nuts for the vegan wings and pizza here. The Party Fowl is a fantastic pizza but the wings are the true stars of the show. Drenched in delicious sauce and the actual texture is very similar to real meat. Women-owned business in the heart of downtown Oakland, go visit them ASAP!!

Old school games to play while you wait for your order (with plenty of sanitation to apply before you play), beer options, vegan and non-vegan bugfalo wings are a great choice, and of course the Supreme pie. This restaurant offers more than your expectations in terms of portions.

This is conflicting as I’ve gone to this spot twice and GR8 experiences with just the slice, however, I ordered the vegan lemon pepper wings and seitan pepperoni pie today and both were cold, bland, thicker crust than that of the two experiences I noted b4 and I’m feeling some type of way as this was a total waste of > $40. I tossed whatever this was and now I’m looking for a spot to order from again tonight. This was a complete fail tonight!

Cool pizza place with (somehow) a college bar vibes even though this is not a college area. The food here is decent and heavy. This is not a light and crispy kind of pizza. It’s a heavy cheesy and carby style. What I like the most is the wings – very flavorful. The bar vibes make this place a great place to sip beer at the end of a day. They also provide board games and cards too. There is also one pinball machine in the corner.

Hoza offers a particularly high quality vegan pizza, with a chewy crust and Vevan vegan cheese, which is almost indistinguishable from the real thing. The veggie toppings are juicy and well-cooked, and in just the right amount. The staff are also quite friendly, and when they mistakenly made two pizzas instead of the one we had ordered the first time we tried Hoza, they kindly gave us the second pizza as a free bonus. We’ve returned since, and the second time was just as good as the first. Thank you, we’ll be back!
