Have been trying to go to the places recommended in Our State Magazine. Ward’s Grill was one of two left on the list. IT IS AMAZING!!! Cheeseburger all the way was my favorite of all time. EXCELLENT burger, the meat just melts in your mouth. The people are so nice and the process is very efficient. Line keeps moving along. I highly recommend it!!

The staff continue to not wear gloves while preparing food. Noticeably, the staff handles money, and other things, while also using the naked hand to prepare food. This is in spite of advice from customers who really like the hotdogs and hamburgers, but cannot stand the blatant sharing of germs.

10 ⭐️ Some of the nicest people I’ve ever met! I had my faith in humanity restored today by the extremely kind staff of Ward’s. I don’t want to be too specific about what happened but let’s just say they’ll take care of you. As for the food…The burger was something that you’ll keep thinking about long after you’ve finished eating one. I could’ve eaten 5. The hotdog was really good i especially liked the chili on it…But again the kindness of the staff blew me away. I’ll definitely be back for lunch every time I’m in Whiteville and I recommend that if you’re reading this that you do too.
