This restaurant is a hidden gem. Every time I enter the restaurant the gentleman always greets and asked how can I help. The service and the food is excellent it’s fresh and you always get service with a smile. I highly recommend eating here if your looking for some island cuisine.

I bought a large oxtail which was 20 bucks it was the most disgusting meal there food used to be good clearly it’s not the same cook and gentleman attitude was not friendly oxtail had no flavor just spicy and rice was mushy will not ever go here again 1/11/23

Terrible terrible experience. I walk in the man does not recognize me at alllllll. I’m standing at the counter and he does not look at me once. I’m in line then a man comes in still no recognition. He finally says how can I help you to the man who came after me. The guy says she was before me. I ask him can he pls give me a soup that’s all I came here for and he says this man is waiting for grubhub order. I tell you it’s only because I need the soup why I didn’t walk out the door. He also just told me to find another store next time so I asked him if he own the place and he said yes him his mom and dad wow good luck to them cause this is one customer they lost.

Great Food! Warm and friendly staff! They suggested parking in the lot across the street if you plan on eating in. The place was busy with takeout orders while we were there. The jerk chicken and curry chicken meals were wonderful. Great prices for the amount of food they serve. So glad we found this place. We will definitely be back.

The rice wasn’t so good it smelled sour & tasted old as well . I don’t enjoy my meal as much as I use too they need fresh food . The oxtail was okay This my my 3rd time having this happen thought I was going to be different I’m disappointed. Watch out for it !! Over 15.00 I should’ve got my money back

This is one of the best restaurants in Hartford and CT for that matter. I have been going there for quite some time and I can tell you one thing. There is no sugar used to make their food taste so sweet. Only good old fashion Jamaican down home cooking.
