The service here always tends to be SUPER SLOW!! Be prepared to wait for a long time on refills. Our cook arrived before our soup and salad and we waited like 25 minutes for our drink orders to be taken after we were seated. The food is decent but it’s not the best Hibachi we’ve had.

Our reservation was at 7:15. We still had finished at 9:15. Our chef did not come out for 45 minutes after being seated. They don’t have the staff to book as many tables as they are booking. It’s sad because we love this place but they need to make some changes and I know it’s hard to do because no one wants to work anymore. everyone was very nice just very slow.

We have been coming here on our anniversary for the last 15 years. Sadly that will change after tonight. We made a reservation 7 and our chef did not arrive at our table until 7:57. We were sat in the back where it was extremely hot, All of the chairs were broken, the waitress said maybe 2 words to us and the place looked like it had not been dusted in years. When we told the manager we no longer wished to wait after an hour, he tried to give us our drink ticket! No sir, I will not be paying for my two ice teas and we will not be returning.

Best hibachi place in Oklahoma. Delicious menu that’s fixed, so they’re cranking it out many times over every day, achieving quality. They’ve been open for over 40 years, and the experience is no-frills, minimal tricks, and quality food.

It’s not clear what happened here, but this Shogun was EXTREMELY understaffed. They might have had 2 chefs and 2 servers.

We had a large group and we were accommodated to sit together even though it was crowded. Service on drinks was slow and one end in the table never was even asked if they needed anything after the first time of asking what we were drinking and ended up going to the bar themselves to get a drink. Most everyone had a drink when we arrived at the table as we came from the bar while we were waiting on the entire party to arrive. The chef was good, but with such a large group each item was cooked separately and put on our plates and if you waited for all your food the food was cold before you ate it. I’ve been to several other hibachi places and this has not been an issue.

Had a birthday celebration last night, drinks are good, waitress seemed a little aggravated (which seems odd because she’s only there for 4-6hours), the chef who made our food was fantastic! Very good portions on all our food specially the meat! I’ve never had 10+ shrimps anywhere without extra charge. It’s a little spendy but well worth it! The food was delicious!

This place was Really Good. My wife and I enjoyed the evening. Our chef was well educated, knew a lot of things. Food was amazing, cooked really awesome.

Ugh. I really wanted to enjoy this night for a family member’s birthday, but it just didn’t cut it.

This place is a flashback to 1980. Dirty, dusty, dingy, bad lighting, and old. Please do not continue dressing older white women up in poorly made traditional Japanese wardrobes… it’s offensive to the Japanese culture to dress an old white person in costume!! The chef was great. All ingredients were obviously mass produced, out of a bag, and subpar. I had one adult beverage and the NY Strip portion for dinner… Scallops, Shrimp, soup, and salad. Overall it was “okay” for the service and food. Definitely not the quality expected.
