When I go in there, I get giddy. I just KNOW to expect that I’m going to enjoy my meal! The servers are friendly and try to make sure that you always have everything that you need, aren’t pushy-when it comes to ordering, help each other out even, and the food is usually prompt AND accurate, in being served. My eyes roll back into my head, practically, at that first bite of my favorite-their fried tenderloin. It is remarkably the best tenderloin that I have EVER had anywhere. That’s why it’s hard for me to tell you about any of their other foods, except from the experiences of bites of other people’s food from people that I’m with, in like a tasting party. I have tried to order other things, but I usually end up changing my mind and order my usual instead. Only once have I been, when they’d run out of tenderloin. We love it too, that they serve breakfast all day long, which is great (and rare). I keep saying that I want to try their pizza. So, maybe next time, I will buckle down and get some. We shall see!

A real down-home place for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Our favorite is the Mabel Burger with crispy fries. They have pizza, salads and lots of comfort food. I’m told they have a great meatloaf on Tuesday at lunch. They also do take out.

1st time eating at Carl’s and LOVED it! The waitress was very nice and even gave us a little history lesson on the restaurant. The food was served very quickly and HOT! We will definitely be going back.

Hometown cooking like mama would have done it. Very busy in the vacation season and even main eating hours during off season as well. We’ll worth any wait, if there should be one. Consistent quality and service time and time again

Stopped for the first time, I’m on the other side of the county, and had heard of the place, but never stopped. What a wonderful little gem, in a gorgeous section of the county. I see why they have been in business for over 70 years. I will definitely return, and soon!!

Horrible service. Our server had a poor attitude from the moment we arrived. The table never received refills on our drinks. Several tables that arrived after we did got their food way before us. The food was luke warm and mediocre. The only positive is they gave us almost a whole loaf of toast with our meal. Would not recommend.

Love grabbing breakfast at Carl’s Place. The ladies who wait tables are really sweet an attentive. The food comes out perfectly and we always leave with full bellies. I am particularly fond of the country ham and my kids fawn over the the biscuits. Seating can be limited if you come during busy times.

Just a very friendly great place to go. Can be a little crowded as seating is limited. Still a great little local place. We used to ride dirt bikes in the area and it was our go to stop for lunch. Still great staff and great food, just as it was years ago. I highly recommend!

There aren’t a lot of places to eat on this side of the county, but Carl’s makes up for it. Breakfast is killer. My son loves the burgers. I get the grilled chicken salad because it’s always on point. Pricing is great. And the staff is super nice.
