We’ve been here several times. Basic burgers and simple menu. Outdoor atmosphere is nice and kid friendly. Beers are just ok. This last time they forgot our appetizer but quickly comped it and still brought it out in a box. Nice idea but we had just gotten into town for the day and would have been bad by the time we got back to our car.

We were seated quickly, and ordered relatively fast. However, we did wait almost an hour to receive our food after ordering. Our waitress was very friendly though. The poutine was delicious. Everyone loved the beers they chose, the Irish Burly was so smooth. I saw a sign that their mac and cheese had won an award as best mac and cheese, so I ordered it. Unfortunately I was disappointed. It lacked any flavor, and tasted like they forgot to salt it.

Great atmosphere. Food was spectacular, however wish there was a bit more selection. Homemade chips are great!

The Vermont Pub and Brewery (VPB) was a great find for us while we were walking around Burlington VT. We searched Google and did not see the Vermont Pub and Brewery listed and were glad we walked by to find it. We were able to get a seat right away on a Friday at this location after walking in many restaurants in the area with long wait times. It’s listed on Google, but you have to zoom in to find it. The restaurant gives off a pub vibe and there are many seating options either at a table or the large bar. There is also an outdoor seating area which was not occupied because it was February in Vermont, but it looked nice. After being seated a waitress came over to take our orders quickly. They have a good menu with normal Pub food and other unique items. We ordered the Pickle Chips, the Vermont Cheese Plate, Beer Cheese Dip, and a VPB Classic: Toad in the Hole. All the did was great and the cheese plate and the Toad in the Hole was my favorite. There is a large beer selection and I enjoyed a flight with four samples for $6. Everything on the menu is reasonably priced and is a good value in my opinion. If you are in downtown Burlington, I highly recommend stopping in to the VPB for great food and a nice pub style atmosphere.

To be honest the beer and food was less than mediocre. We got a variety of beers on tap – IPA, Pilsners and they were all tasting bland. The food seemed like it was frozen and just warmed up, esp the chicken tenders. Ordering the salad was a bad idea – Seemed like it was store bought, stale and just disappointing.

A local pub with their own brews. The sour had a good fruit bite and the porter a dark malt. Mac n cheese was ok but get the poutine.

I really enjoyed the fish and chips here, I’m British so that should be a compliment! My husband had a burger and said it was just ok. The young lady who served us was really great, very helpful and kind to our dog. Was pleased to find that the outdoor dining area is dog friendly.

The beer is okay. The selection is around 6-8 different brews. The bartender was really great and allowed us to sample some. The part that went wrong was the food. The pricing for what you receive is horrible. We paid $10 for 4 buffalo chicken tenders that were more like chicken nuggets. I don’t even know if it was real chicken. The food quality could be way better for the price you pay. We won’t be back.

Don’t waste your time. Beer was just okay, nothing that great. Food was terrible. Had the buffalo chicken tenders. Got 4, very small, pieces of “chicken’ for $10. It wasn’t real chicken and wasn’t good. The other items we had were not good either.

Walked in on a hot day in June. As soon as we sat down on the patio they brought our dog his own water dish complete with ice. (he is a husky mix so the ice was definitely appreciated)
