The St. Clair dining dining side – 7:28/23. Our impressions: Fabulous cocktails. Delicious food. AMAZING HOSPITALITY! The chef started us off with a complimentary first bite and finished the night with a complimentary last bite. I failed to take a photo of the eggplant arancini starter, which was my favorite food of the night! We had a fantastic experience. We were not rushed through dinner, which I appreciate. We were able to thoroughly enjoy the experience. Make a reservation soon! You won’t regret it!

St. Clair food is delicious, Caesar salad is the best I’ve had in a long time, it’s chopped fine, dressing is so so good, crab claws is fried golden and pretty (they r big) very meaty I couldn’t stop eating them. Waitress, super sweet (Jane) we asked could we see a Manager food was so delicious, Shawn was complemented highly from myself and daughter, Shawn was very nice and super friendly. Highly recommended !!!!!

Had a wonderful experience at the St.Clair. We had reservations and was sat upon arrival. The food and service was amazing. I had the French onion soup, the filet with risotto and collard greens. My husband had the lamp lolly pops with a vegetable hash and mash potatoes. He had a salad as the starter.

I recently visited The Tavern at The St. Clair in Pell City, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed with my dining experience. The restaurant offers high-end steak and seafood dishes that are simply amazing. The presentation of the food was impeccable, and the taste was even better. I would highly recommend the steak and seafood dishes to anyone who visits.

It was my first time to eat here, and Jen was my server/waitress. She was so cheerful. EVERYTHING was great! The cheese platter was a bit creative for my liking, but I tried it. The steak, baked potato and greens were delicious. Jen was helpful with the wine selection.

My husband and I had reservations at The St. Clair (required). We received a text 30 minutes prior to our dinner time. That was a very nice touch as sometimes we get busy and lose track of time. We arrived about 5 minutes early and we were seated immediately by two very lovely hostesses. Our Waitress was very prompt on introducing herself and getting our water to us. We were also served rolls with freshly made garlic butter (so yummy!!).

Had a great first experience at The Tavern. Brittany K waited on us and was excellent and had great recommendations. We had several of the speciality cocktails between the three of us and they were all great. The orange raspberry dessert drink tasted a little bit like the orange flintstone vitamin so I’ll skip that one next time, but everything else I highly recommend! We tried the ceasar salad, the shrimp po-boy, the exit 158 burger, crème brûlée and the cheesecake!

If I could give this restaurant a negative score I would but unfortunately 1 is as low as it will allow me to go. My family and I have been there 2 times. The first time in March the food was good but the service was horrible. We waited and waited and waited for everything and then suddenly my dad didn’t even get his meal. But the manager that night was very nice and we had a chat and she made it right and apologized. We went back tonight excited about Trivia night, not only was the waitress beyond disrespectful without any reason to be as soon as she walked up but it got worse from there. My mom had a bug in her drink and the waitress not only argued with her but she made a face and a sassy unnecessary comment basically making fun of her. Then to top it all off the manager walks up with the exact same rude attitude before we have said a word. He went on and on about some story about some past issue that we caused, one that none of us remember happening. Especially since we’ve only been there twice. Overall I HIGHLY SUGGEST DON’T EVEN BOTHER. What a shame; there’s finally a nice place to go in Pell City and the staff is rude, insulting and degrading.
