Welcomed as soon as we walked in the door. Place not crowded on a Sunday afternoon. Burger was HUGE and done just as asked. Buffalo chicken sammich had just enough “bite” and not overpowering. Seasoned fries were fresh and tasty. Nice sparse atmosphere Open rafters. Several TV’s (tuned to Sunday NASCAR ). Service very friendly by owner and attentive but not obtrusive. Try it, it will become a habit. Classic firetruck out front.

It was our first time going and it was the absolute best!!! Hands down the best place in all of Colorado to eat!!!! Just be prepared the portions are generous so bring your appetite but you will NOT be disappointed the food was so delicious!!! My favorite burger is the mushroom Swiss burger and whenever I try somewhere new I always get my favorite thing to judge how I like the place and let me tell you this was the BEST BURGER I HAVE EVER HAD!!!! Their twist on the traditional mushroom Swiss is Devine it really elevated the burger and now I will never be able to order it from anywhere else!!! My kiddos are normally kind of picky too especially going out to eat and they all said it was the best food they have ever eaten they even loved the fried peppers which was a big surprise!!! My husband had the fish tacos and they were absolutely delicious but make sure you save room for the desert because OMG!!!! You can taste the quality in every bite we normally never order desert from anywhere but the food was so good we wanted to try it and it blew us away with how good it was!!!! Espresso cheesecake chocolate mousse lemon blueberry crumble and cinnamon bites that were far from bites they were all exquisite!!! The entire environment of the restaurant was so warm and welcoming and friendly everyone greeted us with smiles and as if we had been friends forever!!!! Our waitress was Courtney and she was so bubbly and friendly and sweet she actually engaged in conversation and didn’t make us feel like a bother instead we felt nothing but pure joy and fun from her she was the absolute best waitress we have ever had from any establishment!!! If you haven’t been to this restaurant don’t walk RUN TO IT you won’t be disappointed by any means!!!!

Candies Firehouse is the new name and the new owners have made this a top notch place to eat. We had subpar food in Pagosa Springs all weekend and on our way home to Denver we searched up somewhere to eat and this place caught our eye. Well the food was impeccable, the service was the type of service you’d get back in the day! Everything is homemade from scratch including the desserts. Eagles eggs, chicken fried chicken and the chorizo queso were my favorite! Burger was amazing too but I had to pick the top three!! Don’t pass this place up, you’ll regret it!

Never been disappointed. Breakfast, lunch and dinner have been amazing! It’s a small town restaurant so they have trouble with reliable staff, but even with that, they push to give you excellent service no matter their situation. You must try their eagle eggs!!! We will be back soon!

We’re now regulars, and have yet to have anything less than excellent. I’d give six stars if I could. Our first trip to this restaurant, and they far exceeded our hopes. I had the pepper strips with garlic ranch and it was excellent, followed by the fish tacos. Again, excellent. I declined dessert, but then couldn’t resist a spoon of the apple cobbler with sea salted caramel crunch ice cream. Mmm! Any one of these dishes would be enough to bring me back for more at the least excuse. Obviously made fresh and made well, all of it. No photos because we dove in the moment the food arrived. Oh, and the service was fast, friendly, and alert.

The Brisket mac and cheese with fried peppers on it was ridiculously good. The lemon ricotta cheesecake with blueberry topping is worth a drive here by itself. Also had good beers on tap and the staff was excellent as well. Very highly recommend.

I absolutely love Candies Firehouse. As a local I believe it’s possibly the best restaurant in town. Unlike JENNIFER SIMPSON who does nothing but leave awful reviews on all of the South Fork businesses I prefer to stop spending money in places if I absolutely hate it as she seems to hate Candies but continues to frequent this restaurant.
