Let me start this by saying that I have been a Javateas fan for a long time, until today. I always had great drinks there and the food was good too. I have loved some of their past monthly specials and they have a nice outdoor patio. Unfortunately today was not a good experience and we left disappointed. When we went it, it was a busy morning and it seemed that only teenagers were working with no manager/guidance. There was no organization to their service and, even though they were using number tents, the staff were walking around asking if you ordered something. We were asked at least 3 times during our visit if food was ours, when it was not. We ordered the coffee flights and it was about a 15 minute wait, which was not bad during a rush. The flavors of the drinks sounded amazing, but they lacked coffee and left us searching for anything other than the syrups. The drinks were so sweet we weren’t able to finish them. We were super bummed about today’s experience and unfortunately it left us not wanting to visit again soon.

We’re visiting from out of town. Not sure if it is always this crazy but we waited over an hour to get our coffee flights. At one point a team member came out and asked if we we’re waiting for a flight then apologized that they ran out of flight glasses and needed to wait for the dishwasher to finish. Team members ignored the numbers on the table and just went around asking if you ordered what they had in their hands. One couple next to us requested a refund for how long they were waiting. Another couple ended up just leaving before they got their drinks. Not an adult to be found either. Seems like everyone on staff that day was under 18. I don’t blame the frontline staff. This was a management issue.

Came for the old republic distillery and music next door. Since it was our anniversary, thought we’d order some food. After 1hr, no food.. checked in and they lost our order. Hubby got his nachos a few minutes later. 20 minutes later no boneless wings for me. He went in to check again and to get silverware. He brought me my food. The hot sauce wings were mushy and flavorless… couldn’t even eat them. Returned them and got Refund. DO NOT EAT HERE.

The service was quick and friendly. We had the red velvet 7 layer bar, macarons, and the javaccino. The macarons fell a bit short, but everything else was excellent and the prices were very reasonable. I’ll be sure to return to try out more stuff. The atmosphere is also quite nice and there’s plenty of seating.

Was just in ordering a drink to go. A guy in front of me was such a (insert adult word that I can’t bring myself to post publicly online)!! And I just gotta say the ladies working today, the three handled it professionally, kept their cool and provided good service to a difficult customer. Shows a lot about this place and the people they hire-ones with character!

Great dog friendly place to hang out on their outdoor patio and pavillion. In the same beautiful building as Old Republic Distillery. We had the soft pretzel and it was great. They provided enough cheese to dip about 5 of their pretzels in!

It’s a very aesthetic cafe that is connected to a bar. It’s rather quiet and the prices are average. The whoopie pies were not good in my opinion. They were gluten free and vegan, which is fine & a great option, however it tasted like 2 pieces of styrofoam. Their smoothies are good and worth the money. They have a lovely outside seating area that receives lots of sun.
