This is absolutely the best Indian Cuisine I’ve ever had! I always get the Tandoori Chicken which is cooked in a clay oven. It is very tender and the spices give it a very delicious flavor! I also always get the cheese Naan I’ve never had such good Naan before and for what you pay you get a really good amount. The staff is very friendly! Even though I always get to go I know if I did a dine in experience it would be awesome. The restaurant is very welcoming and cleanly. 5 stars definitely if you want an authentic Indian Cuisine experience defiantly come here.

The food is delicious and the service is very friendly. Just be advised about the spice when ordering, as everything is a little hotter than most other places (their medium is many place’s hot).

The BEST Indian cuisine we have had in 15 years. We live in southwestern Michigan and for some reason indian cuisine doesn’t take out here. We found this place and expected passable Indian cuisine but were blown away by the outstanding SERVICE, QUALITY ingredients, FRESHNESS of the food and we paid far less than we expected. We are DEFINITELY eating here again and again. Also we usually order our spice level at medium and found it very comfortable.

They have one of the best food in the states. It is strange that they are in a small town and not in big city. The food is amazing and tastes heavenly.

6 stars this was the best overall experience I have had at any restaurant in a long time. The staff were all incredibly kind, humble, and genuinely happy to serve you. The food was 10/10 and very authentic. I reccomend the Butter Chicken, it has some incredible sauce!

Very authentic and tasty Indian food. I have been to many Indian restaurants across the country but this is a gem. Exceptional taste, quantity, quality at a very reasonable price. They need to fine tune their Biryanis a little bit but otherwise great appetizers and curries. They have one of the best goat curries, goat sukha, pepper mutton…

Food is always amazing. My current favorite is the chicken chettinadu, medium spicy. The spice level isn’t always consistent, so keep that in mind. If it’s too spicy, a little raita or lemon juice will help cut that down. We appreciate the service because they do not constantly check on us but instead seem to look for cues indicating we need something. We love this as we aren’t constantly being interrupted. The Bollywood videos they play are so fun. This restaurant is one of my favorites in Portage!

The dosa was too salty to start. Then, some of us ordered no spice, but the receipt say mild and it was so spicy. I couldn’t eat mine, as it was more like medium spice. This is not my first eating at an Indian restaurant. I’ve also been to Hillside some years ago for buffet as well and loved it. It has changed. I love spicy, but I get acid reflux with too much. This was inedible for me. When I asked the waiter if it was no spice as I had ordered then why is it so spicy, he had nothing to say. I got a vegetarian eggplant dish. It was so salty, I could not taste the usual aromatic flavor of Indian cuisine. Many of our dishes due to over spiciness and saltiness, we did not bring home as leftovers. This is something we NEVER do. It is wasteful. Service was not good as well. We get these little bottles of water and they didn’t check on us so we could get a refill. Waiter knew we had called him over about the spice. Still never check to see if we needed anything. One young waitress offer a drink for the kids with us and when I said no thank you, she rolled her eyes. When I go to pay, the waiter stared at me while I sign the receipt. I never skip a tip, but he was watching me write. It was the only attention we seemed to get from the waiter that day. I couldn’t even think how much to leave with the staring, so I just leave. Will not be going back again. $70 for 4 adults and 2 toddlers. We hardly ate, brought home just the rice with a few bites of lamb, and the rest was left for garbage because it was just salt and heat. Worst Indian food any of us had ever had.
