The strength of this place is the ambiance, which unfortunately doesn’t counter having to spend ~ $18 for a surprisingly small bowl of barely passable chicken biriyani takeout. I recommend using cash because you won’t be warned about this, but you will be charged for a non-existent “additional item” if you use a credit card. Really disappointed overall. If you have a craving, I recommend just dragging yourself a bit further to Little Bangladesh in Koreatown for decent biriyani.

I ordered the Nahari and paid $5 extra for meat on 4/28/23. The guy didn’t give me extra meat, wouldn’t give me his name and hung up on me and was very rude. I will not return and will dispute the extra charge of meat on principle. It is disappointing the man was so rude and short sighted because he just lost a loyal downtown local customer.

Los Angeles,California: After the gym I ate lunch at Biryani Kabob House in Downtown Los Angeles. The cashiers name is Karim he gave me fantastic service and his hospitality was top notch. It was my first time there and he really made me feel comfortable by helping me with my order. I wanted to eat high protein meal. He suggested The Hyderbadi Kachi Lamb. Hyderbadi Kacchi Lamb Biryani is a delicious rice dish where tender lamb meat pieces are marinated with lots of fried onions, whole spices, fresh herbs and rice. It was delicious. If you’re ever in the Downtown L.A. stop by Biryani Kabob House. You’ll be glad you did!
