Ordered the ceviche, I did fish, but they have shrimp as well and it was almost too pretty to eat. Almost. It was very flavorful and just as fresh as it was pretty. Great dish on a hot summer day. My wife ordered the taco salad and very much enjoyed her’s as well. Had some fish tacos on the side because I’m a glutton and they were wonderful as well. Overall very happy and will definitely be back.

We tried Big Taco for the 1st time this week. I had low expectations when they first built the place because it sounded like a pretty simple taco shack. Then, I read some reviews online suggesting that it was a little more expensive than expected and a better menu. I was excited to try it with my husband for lunch!

Glad we came across this place late evening for dinner , not busy , clean tables and bathrooms, fast service! Shrimp cocktail and chips was good , ceviche and chips was good , kids chicken nuggets and fries was good !!

Great place to try out! We started out with the chips and salsa, which were a deal for $3.25. Generous amount of fresh chips with delicious salsa. We ordered a taco plate (steak, carnitas and pastor tacos) with rice and beans. The tacos were generously filled with well seasoned, high quality meat. We were quite surprised with how tasty each taco was. The carnitas (pork) taco was our favorite. We also ordered the peel and eat shrimp, which come with their heads on, with potatoes and corn. It was a very generous amount of shrimp, with a flavorful sauce, not very spicy. Potatoes could have been cooked longer. Bring your own bib, because these shrimp are juicy. Overall, we loved it and will be back.

One of the freshest and flavorful orders of Ceviche I’ve had. This family knows authentic and you can taste it in all their items. Recently from Princeton to McKinney, I’m happy it’s closer now. Homemade tortilla chips are out of this world. Their Ceviche is fresh and hearty.

Food was fantastic, service was excellent at their soft opening. We got the taco plate and chose chicken, carnitas and pastor. Pastor was the best! We also got a shrimp burrito and chips and salsa and guac. Guacamole was great!

Little taste of Mexico on the West side of Mckinney. 4 Stars because there is no window coverings and the dining room was in full sunlight no matter where you sat 5 stars otherwise. Food was great and tasty. I had the Torta Asada with fries and my wife had the three taco plate. Tomatillo salsa was just right. They had horchata and Jamaica flavor drinks as part of the fountain selection which is usually extra so nice to see!
