Silver West Feedstore is located in a late 1800s historic building. Co-owners Emily Ramsey and Hans Prahl leased the restaurant in May 2021 and today, it’s one of Westcliffe’s premier entertainment and dining restaurants. Popular meals include Hans’ smoked brisket, smoked cream cheese and crackers, pulled pork mac and cheese, ribs on the weekends, house salad with homemade Ranch dressing. We partner with a local bakery and offer a weekly dessert which is currently chocolate-chip-cookie-ice-cream-sandwiches. We offer Colorado craft beer on tap, including one from our sister company Florence Brewing. We also serve various wines, cocktails and spirits (which by the way we’re known to be haunted) as well as non-alcoholic beverages

Great place to hang out. Wife loved the “feedstore” look as did I. Service was excellent and attentive. BBQ was juicy, tender and flavorful! Also plentiful! Sides were great. Nice selection of beers, one even from Florence Brewing Company, another place my wife and I love. Owner came by several times to see how things were and to chat, extremely personable as was his wife and staff. Icecream stuffed chocolate chip cookies was for desert and was great and the size was large (My hand in the pic for reference). Really enjoyed the place and when in Westcliff you need to make a stop here! And FBC in Florence as well!

This place is off main street which was my first sign of yes! You walk in the front door and order. Then they give you a number and you pick where you want to sit (inside or outside). Our servers name was Carli and she was fantastic. Friendly, attentive, and kind. We got our food quickly as well as our drinks. Recommend this place to bring your family or for a lunch date! They have music from 6-8pm.

Was in town for a wedding and stopped in here for lunch on a Saturday. The food was wonderful, I had the cowboy chili, which was delicious. Others in my party had mac and cheese with brisket, as well as a salad with brisket.

If you like spicy and pepper in everything you order, this place is for you. The brisket we ordered contained about 1/3 fat and more bread than brisket. On another note, the waitress was very friendly and the atmosphere was nice. Didn’t meet our expectations.

As a Texan and someone who likes BBQ brisket, I was really disappointed with the brisket mac and cheese. Twice as much fat as meat on the bits of brisket, and it cannot be called BBQ, just cooked fat. The small bits of meat that were there were chewy. No slow cooking going on there. The hot BBQ sauce was good and sweet, but no hint of spicy. The limited menu was a disappointment also. Server was nice and atmosphere was ok, but I won’t be back.

Everything was absolutely delicious! We ordered the wolf pack which had a little of everything, and nothing disappointed. The mac and cheese is creamy and flavorful and the meats are tender and smoky. Would 10/ 10 recommend to everyone and will be going back again.

We visited just a few short weeks after their revamp/reopening for summer 2023 and the new BBQ menu. It was great quality and delicious, and the chef personally came to talk to us at our table which showed he cared about his product and the people he was serving. We were able to get some history and background of the restaurant and we were happy to recommend this new spot if you visit Westcliffe. They have a very efficient ordering and service method. The patio and outside space was lovely — highly recommend sitting outside and enjoying the flowers from a local farmer Our one concern was with all disposable dishes and hopefully in the future they will be able to cut down on the single-use waste.
