In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

This is a nice restaurant but I didn’t like the spice-drenched chicken. It is reddish dry spices – not the wet sauce you get with Zingers. I ordered it “hot” since that’s 3/5 on their hotness scale. However, this was too spicy for me and I wasn’t able to finish the chicken.

Yum! I enjoyed my experience here. I had the Reaper chicken sandwich. I had to sign a waiver. 🙂 It was spicy and I really enjoyed it. Friendly staff. The fries were good, too. I gave the extra hot and the hot sandwich to my teenage nephew, and he said “it’s not that hot.”

OMG, stay away from Reaper — unless you can dare it! I eat a lot of hot spicy food but reaper is insane!!! Besides the daredevil flavor, food is great and the service is not bad either — I would have given a perfect 5 if they had more seating and provided napkins at the table. Overall must try!

Super excited I finally got to try this place out. The staff was so friendly and they gave amazing descriptions of the heat levels so I could make an informed decision. I chose the medium spice level I think that anyone looking for flavor with a kick at the end this is the heat level for you . The only thing I wasn’t a fan of was the Dave’s sauce , it was a little too sweet I would have preferred an aïoli. Over all really good can’t wait for a location to open up closer to me

2 sliders was was too much food for me lol. I think next time I’ll get just the single slider. Great food and I was pleasantly surprised at the extra hot chicken; great flavor and not TOO hot. It’s right on the borderline of what you could consider food and torture. I don’t know if I could work up the guts to try the Reaper level so for now I’ll CHICKEN OUT and enjoy my extra hot.

The very first time I visited here with some friends and family the food was great. My toddler, who is a picky eater, likes the fries here. I get it for her like once in a while cos it’s too salty for even adults. For the past 10 times or so, the quantity has been substantially decreasing despite the increase in price. An order of fries is 3.99 plus tax, and the serving is abysmal. I literally counted it today- 16 fries. That’s 4 pieces for a dollar. Unless this is a high-end restaurant or gold-plated fries, I don’t understand the pricing. Once or twice or even thrice would have been okay for occasionally small serving but this is consistent. So, I’m out.
