We had been to The Wildflowers in Lancaster and were hungry for good Mexican food and margaritas. Yelp recommended this restaurant and it didn’t disappoint. Everything about this restaurant, the service, the salsa & chips, the food and the margaritas were excellent. Cesar, our waiter, had the best personality and truly cared about our experience as first time customers. His big personality was so appreciated. The food was served hot, in big portions and so delicious. We plan to drive the half hour from our house to Santa Clarita to enjoy the amazing food at this restaurant. Thank you Cafe Vieja for a wonderful experience.

The staff is excellent, very friendly, and very attentive. Good chips and salsa. I got the fajitas, and I was a little disappointed. It lacked flavor, and the veggies were not cooked enough to have flavor locked in. If you know good fajitas, you know what I’m talking about. It’s not my favorite Mexican restaurant, but I wouldn’t say it’s my least favorite.

Had a big party, 1 they didn’t tell me I needed to bring Forks for cake even after I called to ask if I can bring a cake. 2. Came to us n said mandatory 20 percent gratuity for every table. What? Omg! 3. Kicked our party out because they said they had a party after us. Which btw they never informed us when I rsvp not even after me calling 3 times to conform n ask about cake. Never occurred to them to let me know. Oh and their parry never showed up because I stayed with a friend an hour after they never had a party coming. They only wanted us to leave. Smh. Customer service is the worse. Waitress said manager is the one that wanted us to leave
