Willoughby By The Bay is absolutely a hidden gem! The food is AMAZING, the atmosphere is fantastic and the bartenders are super friendly. The food prepared by Mrs. Mary is fresh, piping hot and cooked to order. The steamed shrimp is the best in all of tidewater region. The amazing bartender Sarah is here tonight so come out and see for yourself!

This place is so freaking cool! It’s very chill, they have pool tables and giant checkers. It’s a hidden gem (Literally hidden) Laura, the bartender was very friendly and funny. The food was delicious we had the jalapeño poppers, Oyster Rockefeller and the PoBoy! You can tell the food is fresh and homemade by the taste. Will definitely be back!

Danielle was a phenomenal server. She was very knowledgeable of the menu and was able to provide excellent recommendations. She went above and beyond to ensure all our needs were met and ensured our table never lacked any drinks. Truly made my birthday one to never forget! Horrible. Worst serving of oysters ever. Unwashed. Muddy. Served on a tray of slime water. Blackened tuna? More like gray mystery meat on skewers. Someone back there can’t cook and doesn’t know what they’re doing. The server/bar tender didn’t know the difference! Stick to slinging beer.

Willoughby by the Bay was a great dinner experience. The staff was friendly and welcoming ensuring we were well taken care of, Sara was fantastic. The food, delicious. The fried shrimp were scrumptious, and well battered for the perfect ratio. The Carolina Rueben (catfish) was a unique and new favorite style. Looking forward to coming back!
