Haven’t been here in over a decade and the only change has been in decor. Totally upgraded. The Mae West has only gotten better if that’s possible. Stuffed sole was buttery and cooked perfectly moist and frog legs were hopping off the plate delicious. Our sweet server was new to the job and was a delight.

Went to this restaurant for 3 years now. Twice in July and once in August. The first 2 years it was excellent. The perch were small like fried nugget size with very white meat and good flavor. This time it looked like the perch was purchased at the frozen food store and just fried up. Big difference. The peanut butter pie the previous 2 years was excellent but this time it wasn’t the same. Use to be very light and creamy this time it did not seem homemade. Very disappointed. For someone who wanted their recipes before to couldn’t wait to leave. Big difference. I know restaurant business is tough and help is hard to find but when something is advertised for a price and it isn’t what it use to be, that seems a little fraudulent. Hopefully they can get it back together. Person who was looking forward to it and is now disappointed.

Perch was delicious! Very good fries. Server was great, and that’s saying something because we were a party of 10 including a 2 year old and a 5 year old. I was disappointed that my potato had mud on the outside, since I usually like to eat the skin too. I didn’t take off any stars because I didn’t tell anyone at the time! We will almost shortly be back.

We stayed there while visiting Alexandria Bay they mixed up our meal my fish was put on my wife’s order and hers was put on my order. The rooms can be updated there’s no phones in the room no coffee makers. The air conditioner rattled all night there’s no dead bolts on the door or secondary security chain just a door knob lock.

Was pleasantly surprised! I’m not a fan of bar grill combos, but this place offers the best of both worlds with good separation so folks in the bar get that feel and folks in the restaurant get that experience. Rest rooms were small but clean. Service was friendly and everything was cooked to order and even the tarter sauce was homemade!
