Great burger! I got the pipeline burger with onions and let me tell you, it is FILLING. I honestly couldn’t even finish everything. Get here early, hard to find parking. There is limited seating in the restaurant area. But they have a walkway connecting to a whole food court area. Other than that, this is a great burger place, I recommend!!!

I hesitated to post this because it happened months ago and I never post negative reviews. But I’ve been thinking back to my trip and the fact that this was the only time in my life I’ve ever gotten food poisoning. Ordered a loco moco on Friday March 31, 2023 at noon, and it was the only thing I ate that day. By that night, I was extremely sick. I was sick for that whole weekend and I was only able to walk properly and eat anything on the following Monday. So that was a whole weekend that I spent in bed that I could have spent doing fun stuff with family in this beautiful place, and I’m still salty about it. The meal itself was ok, but man would I go back in time if I could.

As we we’re heading to the airport we decided to hit one more local spot and Bonzai burger did not disappoint. We ate great, ppl watched and had great Mai Tais recommended by Christine.

We looked at the other options in the Kuhio Food Court and were not impressed. We settled on this place as at least it had some nice outdoor seating (which at noon) entails no sun in the face and pleasant people watching. The loco moco gravy looked like watery beef broth but was maybe the best choice among our choices: beef and fish burger. I cut into the fish filet and the beer batter fell apart revealing a much smaller fish. Ha!

I got the Hawaiian burger and the flavors were there, but i didn’t take into consideration that the pineapples are juicy and they will make your bun really soggy when eating. So that is something to watch out for when ordering this item and for that reason. I liked my wife’s burger better the mushroom burger it was put together a lot better than mine and the flavor was not compromised. We will be back soon when in the neighborhood i think I will just try a different burger next time we go. I hope this helps you out and have a great day.

Felt like your run of the mill fast-food burger and fries joint. The burger patty itself was pretty good, almost had a Five Guys vibe but the bun was different (brioche). Fries were like a less soggy McDonalds. I was in a rush to catch a red eye flight and grabbed this as a last minute meal, obviously not the best burger I’ve ever had but it did the trick for a quick bite, nothing I could really complain about.

Waited for half an hour tonight in a big line only for the guy to say “this is the last person im going to serve” to the person in front of me as soon as it hit 9. By this time there was only a couple of other people in the queue, so could have easily served us. He could have also given us notice earlier, so we didn’t wait for 30 minutes for nothing, but he said nothing until it hit 9 and then turned us away. When I told him we’d been waiting 30 minutes, he then gaslit me and said I hadn’t. Couldn’t believe the nerve. Not only did he not apologize for rejecting me, but he then called me a liar.
