Pizza Thief is a new NY Style pizzeria in NW Portland’s Slabtown neighborhood offering 18” pies and slices, salads, and desserts with a full service bar adjacent to the pizzeria. Our chef and baker has created unique and delicious doughs and breads using a naturally leavened recipe with precise combination of sourdough and whole grains with high hydration making for an exceptional texture and flavor. I’ve found the best slice shop in the city, hands down the best ‘za on the west side and one of the best in town. I came back a couple times to solidify this 5 star rating. The sourdough crust is crispy and chewy with an incredible tang and you can tell with every bite they use the best ingredients, from sauce and flour to vegetables and meats. The seasonal corn and padron peppers is out of this world if you’re a fan of corn! The place is so inviting and lively, they have plenty of seating inside and out, and best of all is a full service bar next door with a killer draft list and fantastic cocktails. These thieves nailed it, it’s busy but don’t worry the staff look like they’re working their butts off and manage to have a smile throigh it all! Pro tip, don’t miss the tasty cookies and sweet hand pies, wow!

I came and tried the slices. For me it was a bit too soggy but the flavor was amazing. I need to come back and try the fresh pie and give it another go. Pepperoni has tons of flavor and the mushroom slice has a flavor that I love a lot.

Pizza is cooked fantastically. Solid leoparding on the bottom, fresh and vibrant ingredients, and generous sized slices. Clean, fun, and upbeat environment with prompt and friendly staff. Fun and varied music with standard seating. My girlfriend mentioned it was my birthday and the lady making pizza behind the counter gave me a free cookie and foccacia bread! Very cool and unexpected as it’s our first time here! Some canned beer and non-alcoholic beverages available. Would recommend 10/10

Wow, this pizza parlor is awesome. It’s a throw back to the 80s. There is a couple of video games cabinets and a good amount of seating. They have a few benches with heating lamps outside too.

I love this place. I also love Life of Pie. And NY Slice and Ranch and Pizza Kat. I love that this is such a pizza town. Pizza Thief has a solid menu and you can get a huge pie to feed five people for under 35 bucks. With very high quality ingredients. The vibe is great too. The meatballs are next level.

I want to hug the creator of this spot because it’s so dang good! The dough is so flavorful, delicious sauce and awesome toppings. We get the vegan pie and it’s packed with flavor. Our school-aged girls gobble it up and our non-vegan friends rave about it too. Hands down pizza in Portland.

Really great pizza and focaccia. Good ingredients and a balanced, bright sauce. Nice crust…generous foldable slices. Get a variety of flavors with slices or go for your favorite whole pie. Salad was very fresh and well-prepared. The oversized salted hazelnut cookie was excellent. Super friendly staff. Clean, cozy space with upbeat vibe. On-street outdoor seating available. Their ‘trash panda’ logo is cool.

Favorite pizza spot in Northwest Portland! I’ve been here a few times and the staff and quality of food is always consistent and amazing! Definitely coming back! The connected bar next door is also great with a good cocktail menu. There is also a nice outdoor seating option for nice days, and rainy cool days with a cover and heaters. This place is our favorite neighborhood spot for sure!
