Our waiter Gabriel was excellent. The food was outstanding, everything we ordered was super good. However, I didn’t care for their drinks, tried first the spicy mango drink and it was too sweet and no alcohol flavor. Then I tried the passion fruit margarita and that was also disappointing. Definitely would come back to try other dishes.

Went in for dinner was seated immediately and the server came to get our drink orders, they came out almost instantly. The food took longer than expected to come out especially being a slow day. All our orders came with rice except our kids. The rice was terrible it was either old or burnt and it was as hard as a rock in some spots. The chips were good however the salsa they gave us tasted like spaghetti sauce out the can. Very disappointed we were really expecting great food especially with a high star rating. Mother in law ordered steak tostada’s and is now having a terrible stomach ache.

Your typical Mexican restaurant atmosphere. We love the Margaritas and the chips and salsa are delicious (which is free) The burritos and taquito are our favorites. It’s fairly priced. Sometimes they are a little slow with service …we don’t mind waiting.

While traveling on business and staying at the nearby Hilton Hotel, I stopped at Don tequila’s for dinner, a short walking distance from the hotel. The interior is notably clean. The decor is truly authentic having spent time in Puerto Vallarta myself I felt like I was back in Mexico. My server, Daniela was extremely friendly and help me choose the Quesabirrias; 3 piping hot soft corn tacos with Barbacoa, cheese, cilantro and onions and a side of perfectly cooked and seasoned rice. Prices are very reasonable. #highlyrecommend

We found Don Tequila from a Naples Facebook group post that listed them as one of the best Mexican places in the area! They were not wrong! The food was delish and we got to eat outside on their patio – so much fun! We tried the Appetizer Sampler and the Taco Salad! We will be coming back for those again soon! The waitress was incredibly nice and attentive. Can’t say enough nice things about this place! If you’re in the area – try them out!
