Just tried this place and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food.

The dish I had were the Voodoo fries. This place have sme potential. GREAT savory and spicy dish however, my shrimp and chicken could’ve been warmer. The cheese wasn’t melted completely and I would order extra sauce on the fries too. They were a bit dry. But, again great customer service, the front lady was knowledgeable about the menu. Definitely would give it another try in the near future

We have ate here several times and each time, the food is amazing. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. The voodoo sauce is delicious and we just ordered our own container for home. The desserts are delicious too!!

Best catfish and shrimp I’ve tasted in thirty or forty years. Plantains were perfect, Voodoo sauce was great. Louisiana cooking’ with a bit o’ Häiti! Friendly folks and hot, tasty food!

We’ve eaten here multiple times, and everything is delicious. Definitely the best Cajun/Creole food I’ve had in the St. Louis area. It’s especially hard to find really good gumbo up here, but theirs is amazing.

The Dirty Boy from Crooked Boot was really good. Fried shrimp and fried catfish, L, T, and voodoo sauce. Only change I would make would be to heat the bread up a little bit on the griddle or the oven. Fried green tomatoes were maybe my favorite I’ve ever had. Kids got the catfish tenders and devoured them. Fries were well seasoned but I like mine a little crispier. Will definitely be back soon.

Not to mention they were very very polite. Will be coming back regularly. Owner treated me like family. Very welcoming establishment. Would give more stars if I could.

This was our first experience with the Crooked Boot and we agree we will go back. I had the Bundee Poboy, my husband the catfish platter and my son the Voodoo burger. They were all good and the jerk chicken grows really stole the show. The beignets were chewy and delicious. If you can’t go to New Orleans- go here.

Went for the first time today. The food was exceptional. We had the shrimp po boy and the red beans and rice. The shrimp was delicious. The red beans and rice were flavorful with just enough kick. We will be back.

Walk up joint, that’s why there no cars outside. FYI. If you know what Gulf Coast food supposed to taste like then this is your spot. Po-boys and loaded fries are amazing!
