This place, as my friend said is a diamond in the rough. It’s not a large restaurant, but this food is so good, no great…. it’s awesome. The tacos, the queso, love it. You can eat in or take out. The service is awesome, too. Great people work here! If you are ever looking for great Mexican food, please go! The prices are very affordable!

The mushroom al pastor tacos are by far the best taco I have ever had in my life. Vegan or not! I’m not the only one who thinks this. Everyone i take here falls in love with the food. The salsas are perfect! The employees are the sweetest. The owner is a gem and genuinely loves feeding people his food. This is my first and last stop every time i visit my hometown Chicago!

Oh my goodness, I have found the best Mexican food ever. I can eat here everyday. I have been twice in one week, and I want to go again today. The tacos are delicious. I had grilled chicken, shredded chicken, steak, and the vegan taco (mushroom & pineapple). All Mexican style. Which is cilantro & onions. If you want American style, that’s tomatoes and lettuce. I don’t care how you want it but you got to come here. If you haven’t been you got to try it. You will come back constantly. The queso with chorizo is so awesome, seasoned to perfection. I need to try everything on the menu. I’ll be back soon with another great review. You are going to see pictures of the first time I was there which I dined in. The second time I was there I took it out. The prices are great. You’ve got to support this chef, and his family. They are great people!

Finally, I made it to this place after hearing positive reviews on it. I tried the quesobirria dinner, and it was delicious. So succulent and authentic taste! The staff was so friendly and attentive! I’m definitely coming back to try the asada tracks!

Steak tacos were the best I’ve had on this side of town thus far! The meat was seasoned very well (I was eating it right out of the taco). Chicken tacos were a little dry to me. Beans and rice were good, nothing different from what I’ve tasted at other Mexican restaurants. I’m looking forward to actually dining in and trying other menu items.

Bravo!!!!! 5 star all the way! Super delish!!! All ready thinking about what I will order the next time. The Menudo was soooo tasty! Salsas were on point. You know it is good when you break a sweat but can’t stop eating the salsa for the menudo.

I had a carry out order and ordered the chilaquiles with meat. The food is excellent, the meat very well seasoned. Only thing is as I was eating I chewed on what looks like a stick? Maybe a clove, but it’s very hard and spikey. Again not going to complain on the food but please be more careful when serving the food. I could’ve punctured my mouth. Everything else was good.

I worked around the area and never knew about this family owned Mexican restaurant. I accidentally stumbled upon it and so glad that I did!! I had to order the quesabirria tacos since they are my favorite & they were delicious! The staff was wonderful and very attentive! An older gentleman who I presume was the owner came an offered us some homemade cake for dessert and we could not turn him down. The flavors they had were Tres Leches, Pistachio Tres Leches and Coffee. It was hard to choose one, but we went with coffee and we were extremely happy with our decision. I highly recommended this restaurant!
