Food is so fresh and delicious. Atmosphere is very calming. Staff is attentive and kind. I would recommend this place for a nice dinner whether you are alone or on a date

Probably the worst japanese food ever had in bay area. The sushi rolls tasted like they bought them from safeway.. sad, tiny with overly sweet and mushy rice. Japanese curry was blend and watery with small pieces of raw potato (unpeeled!) and carrots… yuk!

Got the deluxe sashimi – fresh cuts! My only complaint was I was not fond of the shichimi on my light fishes- the flavor was distracting. Prompt service and clean presentation

Nice cosy little Shushi restaurant. The lady is very nice and obviously know the menu well. Wasn’t hungry at all, she recommended the chef special Shushi, delicious. We have extra Sashimi too. Last meal before flying out San Francisco. Good choice and recommended.

If you want great fresh sushi plus some unique creations then this is the spot. Despite its small size, Kamu stays busy and has all the usual favorites plus some really creative and tasty originals – the “You know Me” roll is one of my favorites. Omikaze at fixed price or you tell em what you want to spend.

You might balk at the omakase being $100 but it’s copious amounts of super high end fish that makes it feel like a steal. Come hungry if not starving and leave stuffed with the best sushi I’ve had in the bay area.

3.6 stars (I wanted to round up to 4 since I didn’t want to hurt a small business)

Decided to try this out as an alternative to our normal neighborhood go to. Restaurant is tiny so not ideal during Covid times but cute. Service was prompt and friendly. Sushi was decent but fish portions were small. It was ok but I probably wouldn’t go there again.

New favorite sushi spot! I almost don’t want to write this review because I want to keep this spot from getting too crowded. It’s small and gets crowded fast.

Sushi roll was made with sticky rice, not with sushi rice, never had sushi like that before, it was worse than the pre-packaged sushi you can buy from local food market. Sushi rice had no flavor, not even its signature vinegar taste to it. Curry had no flavor, tonkatsu was very thin and had very strong pork smell to it. Staff was eager to clean out the table rather than serving us. Definitely not a legit sushi place. I can’t believe I wasted over 100 dollars on such place. Sadly disappointed. I don’t know how this place has high rating.
