I’ve never eaten in the restaurant, but the takeout is always good. 9 times out of 10 the quality is fresh and my meal is well made. The Mediterranean salad is probably my favorite restaurant salad ever (so so good). Hummus is also delicious. I’m really glad they opened in this area.

I was excited to have Taziki come to McCalla. I always enjoyed the food from the Hwy 280 location. This location didn’t disappoint. Everything I’ve ordered has been fresh and delicious. An alternative to all of the mostly unhealthy choices was definitely missing in our area. You also get a great value for the amount of food received. Prices are same or much better than a fast food burger combo.

The service once you are in store is good and the food is good, but it’s really sad that this location always turns their online order option on the app off. Even when they’re not busy. I switched the location from McCalla to Hoover and the app magically started working perfectly for online orders. Everybody can’t sit and wait 25 minutes for their food to get ready. This is poor customer service in my opinion.

I stopped in late for the Thursday special – shrimp tacos – for the wife (her favorite). When I began to order, I was informed that they were out because they ran out of the sauce :/ So I ordered and paid for a turkey club gyro. Five minutes later they call me over to the counter to inform me that they are out of turkey! I then select the Mediterranean salad with chicken. I was glad that I was not charged for the difference (and had a little bonus food in the bag when I got home) .

My first few times eating at this location were amazing. They were on doordash then. The last time I ordered the salmon it was horrible and was different all together. Never had bad salmon before. I hope they’re not using fake/cheap salmon now. I’m mainly vegan yet still eat seafood. The salads and feta dip are amazing though.

I enjoy meeting up with my friends at Taziki’s conveniently located in McCalla, with lots of parking. We meet up on the weekends and look forward to the spacious new facility, the friendly faces and the fresh food. The Mediterranean cuisine is healthy and delicious. Daily specials are a draw as well.
