Two of the family members got a stir fry and some noodle dishes, but the dishes were too sweet and salty. So the next time we went, all of us just ordered sushi and some cocktails. I really did enjoy the atmosphere though as it was very roomie inside and the tables were not sticky.

If you’re a sushi lover, Hiro-88 off of 56th and Pine Lake Road is the place for you. My wife and I have been frequenting Hiro for the past three years for special occasions and date nights, and we have consistently received the best service in town. We recently enjoyed a bottle of wine while laughing and relishing the best sushi in town. I highly recommend the Wasabi Stinger Roll and the crab rangoons! Even with our son of just three months old, we have enjoyed our meals here, as the restaurant is kid-friendly. The staff at Hero always goes above and beyond to provide exceptional service, welcoming us with a smile. For your next date night, choose Hero and experience the same amazing service we have come to love! Overall, we had a 5-star experience.

We went for lunch. The sushi was great. Food was okay, service was very questionable. Appetizers came out quickly, food took awhile. Forget about drink refills. You will get that as you finish your food after paying 5.00 for favored lemonade. $150.00 for 5 people. Waiter didn’t know the menu or ingredients in the dishes. Very disappointing, expected way more for the cost.

Went here for a late dinner, food was good, service was just okay. Waiter brought our check before asking if there was anything else we would like. Also asked for a side of eel and ponzu sauce, which were $2 and $1, I thought for the eel sauce that was a little high. Overall a good place and could have been a one chance off on the server. Waiter was super sweet as always; the sushi and the rest of the dishes were absolutely delicious! Hiro88 is honestly one of the best sushi places I’ve eaten at while living in the Omaha-Lincoln area and definitely will be missed when I move!
