The food here is all right, used to be better. Our waitress today was clearly new, but was amazing. Proselytizing the best I’ve had almost anywhere. Why didn’t I like it? This is about the 4th time in a row that myself and the owle I went with got food poisoning. I won’t be going back again, I can’t deal with that every time.

I took my Mother there Thursday expecting a good meal,that was not the case. We chose the buffet( I should have went with Mom’s choice and ordered a meal) and were very unhappy. The mac and cheese tasted like it came from a can, the chicken wings were over cooked and too crispy, the onion rings batter had no flavor.There was boneless pork but no sharp knives to cut it. We will never choose the buffet again. Before we left, we used the Ladies room, which was nasty! I literally had to hold my breath in there,it smelt like mold and definitely not clean. To top it off, we drove from New Hampshire just to eat there 🙁

Stopped on are through its a buffet with buffet food not my favorite would not rush back. I know there is a menu also but we didn’t eat from that so this rating is for buffet part only. Salad bar was nice and fresh soup was good but hot foods I was not interested in.

The salad bar was good, and for the price that someone pays for a meal I find it hard for anyone to complain. The steaks are not the largest in the world, the side potatoes were hot when they arrived. The waitress was very nice and always remove the dirty dishes as we ate.

Absolutely disgusting. The chicken from the buffet was raw, the salad was old and sweaty, the tables were sticky, food was either too dry, or too greasy, and the ice cream tasted like melting ice. Avoid at all costs. Go to Denny’s or taco bell down the road.

Very friendly staff. Our waitress Laurie went above and beyond to make our visit perfect. The buffet has a little of everything. My family loves this place. We highly recommend it.

Salid and icecream are good, after that your on your own. Almost evrything overcooked or crusty on the buffet. Service was good and friendly, if you go to the $8.99 brunch you may get what you pay for.

My husband and I are in Vermont for his job. We decided to try Ponderosa STEAKHOUSE (laughable) seemed okay from the outside. We walked in and were told to order at the front? I wanted to leave right then, but we decided to give it a try. it’s cafeteria style/ snack bar ordering and I was trying to be optimistic. I’ve had MANY waitressing positions and i’m aware how things work. we ordered two meals; him a sirloin and grilled shrimp and myself grilled shrimp. Both entrees come with a house salad, a baked potato, bread and a designated side. they give you a ticket and you chose a place to sit. our waitress came over to get out ticket returned with our drinks and my salad and bread, forgot my husbands. I then had to go find someone (our waitress was no where to be found) to bring this to their attention. when she finally arrived with his salad, she returned shortly with our entrees which inconveniently was getting cooler as we ate our salad which by the way was the BEST part of our “meal”. his sirloin was so tiny and both of our shrimp were horrible. obviously frozen for I don’t know how long, the corn that came was out of a can. he ate his small amount of meat which was of course cooked to the wrong temp. we tried the shrimp, inedible, and we both ate our potato. overall we didn’t eat much, were not please and will never return. i’d suggest going somewhere else to spend your money. we were sorely disappointed.
