Had the cheeseburger and onion rings- food was perfectly cooked, hot n fresh. Excellent service and a nice quiet atmosphere. FYI they don’t accept card payments so bring cash for payment- prices are very reasonable.

Friendly Seafood was recommended by locals in the neighboring town just over the border in South Carolina. This Tabor City restaurant seems to be frequented for it good food & a meeting spot for local & travelers alike. Friendly was easy to find. The restaurant located on a main thoroughfare has parking on the street. Having no stairs made it handicapped accessible.

The Staff gave my wife’s order to someone else and never bothered to check on us until after I had to ask about her food. We barely even got waited on in the first place. I ordered a small steak which was good and a baked potato that was okay. My son got a grilled cheese a bit over done. We finally gave up on my wife’s food and she ate half of mine.

Great burgers. Daily lunch specials. Pretty fast service especially if you get the lunch special. Been a couple of times and it’s busy. Very popular spot to eat. Great staff great service.

Usually I dine in, but I was tired and got a 3 spot plate with french fries. Driving home I had to have a couple fries which turned into handfuls while driving. The fish smelled so good I had to pull over to eat them. Dinner never made it to the house. This restaurant is in town where the locals eat. They also have a fresh fish market where they clean it before your eyes.

I called for take out, but no answer. I walked in for take out, hour wait on my food . Which is fine . Order a variety of fried chicken platter, liver, tenders, shrimp, rice, hush puppies , gator tail and pork chops. All I can say is the dog ate great that night . I was not impressed. I would try one more time to see if their burgers and steaks can hold somewhat of an interest to come back . I like to say the coleslaw was pretty good . I really would like to see these places do less frying and more cooking vegetables. Add some Greens to the menu please! If your trying to eat healthy . This is not your place . Oh and they only accept cash . No card . Parking was not great . Service well let me just give my dine in review later . .. peace✌️
