In 1950, with a $500 loan from his father, Bill Miller opened a small poultry and egg business. Three years later Bill Miller Bar-B-Q began as a small fried chicken-to-go restaurant. Today Bill Miller is a family owned and operated business with 77 locations in the San Antonio, Austin, Corpus Christi and surrounding areas.
We take pride in cooking all our barbecued meats in pits smoked with 100% live oak wood. We offer a variety of meats such as brisket, sausage, bar-b-q chicken, pork spareribs, turkey and fried chicken. We specialize in the baking of breads and pies made fresh daily. I have visited many many Bill Millers in my life time. This visit was by far the best we’ve ever had. The young lady ,Destiny, working the dining room is probably the friendliest, attentive person I’ve met. She had true customer service. And it wasn’t just us she was friendly with. She made her way to every table. I had the tamale plate and I think they are delicious. My favorite desserts are the lemon meringue and pecan pie. The food is great but as long as you got staff like Destiny I’ll keep coming back.

Bill Millers never disappoints. Their fries make other fast food places look small and weak. There chicken sandwiches and bbq items are awesome. Food is always hot and comes out fast. They package the togo items neatly and with care, they don’t cram it all in one bag like some places. Not to mention their ice tea is the bomb, especially on a hot day. I could eat here on a regularly basis!

Over 40 years of eating at BM, this is the Best BM restaurant I’ve ever been too. We were immediately greeted by an employee who assisted us with a large group. He was amazing and took care of everything we needed. Other employees made sure the condiments bar was full, fresh coffee, etc. clean tables and clean restrooms.

Went early one weekend morning so as to avoid the crowd. The staff was awesome. Joking with one another and us as we placed our order. The breakfast tacos were great and the prices are very reasonable. I’ll make this one of my regular stops when traveling through the area

Late lunch around 4 car in front of me at drive thru waited at least 5 minutes at the menus w no response finally pulled up to the window and after several minutes her order was taken. 10 minutes later I pull up to the window and was pretty much ignored for another 10 minutes. Finally a girl walks into the kitchen w a headset and takes my order and immediately walks back into the dining area. Nobody at the serving area. Made eye contact w what looked like a manager but was ignored. 15 minutes later I get my order. I politely told the lady that I had been waiting for over 30 minutes and that there was no answer at the order menue and she replies “And?”. She then tells me the power had gone can out and messed things up. I might expect this to happen at some other place but not a Bill Millers! There seemed to be a lack of concern and no sense of urgency from any of the employees.
