Had a very energetic waitress, Sam, take care of us. She was very engaging and on top of everything. The meal was excellent and I would love to give them 5 stars but I truly believe that an Italian restaurant should have lasagna on their menu!

The food here is well presented and more than adequate. Unfortunately, the service was underwhelming….we waited almost an hour between appetizers and entrees all the while folks coming in after us were being served their dinners. Nothing more frustrating at a restaurant when this occurs.

Place is great. Food is near perfect. Only downside is that the day we went, the service was off. It seemed they only had one server working the whole floor. So it took a very long time to place our order and receive our food. After awhile, the hostess became our server. Other than that, from start to finish; our food was extremely good. I’d go back in a heartbeat.

Gotta say, this place was really good. Small, but intimate. Menu is straight to the point. Be careful. The portions are a lot bigger than I thought. Pretty much took home a doggie bag with most of my dinner.

Wow! This was hands down the best Italian we’ve had here in Highlands in 20 years! Charming little spot, food was beautifully presented, white tablecloths and cloth napkins, efficient service, huge portions. This place is a gem!

I want to start with that this was our 2nd time there, we had reservations for 4 and we arrived on time and were seated quickly, problem was we could barely get into our corner table because it was so tight. We got over that quickly and decided to just have fun being it was a friends birthday. I’m a weight watcher and was a bit intimidated by the menu but when our server told us the “specials” I knew I could order something “WW friendly”. Usually I feel funny ordering off the menu but since I’m paying these prices I might as well try. I ordered the porkchop pinwheel, it was a roasted pork chop with spinach and roasted red peppers with gravy, mashed potatoes and asparagus, I asked for gravy on the side, no mashed and extra veggie with a tossed salad no dressing. The server assured me that this was “no problem”, he also told me no need to order the tossed salad because every meal comes with one. We all received our salads and mine was a couple pieces of lettuce with a few slivers of red onion, I didn’t even get a tomatoes like everyone else at the table ( I should have insisted on the tossed salad but figured the server was correct) Then my meal came and it was covered in gravy, big mount of mashed potato and 3 spears of asparagus. UGH!! So I removed the mashed to someone else’s plate, scrapped the gravy off the extremely dry pork chop (middle meat missing) and sat there and watched everyone else eat. I never send food back for fear of anger in the kitchen. I will tell you my husbands meal was very good but fellow WW, they do not accommodate here. Bad experience here for me all around.

Made to order, delicious and reasonable. True italian atmospere piped music inside and out draws you in to the warm and relaxed atmosphere. Cant wait till they are ubber busy as the ONLY THING MISSING is an assigned hostess, so you may wait at the door a few minutes to be greeted and/or seated.
