Great service. My husband & I came here Sunday afternoon for lunch. It was fairly busy, but the service was on point. Our waitress was very friendly and she took good care of us, ensuring we had all we needed throughout our visit. I ordered crispy tacos & my husband ordered beef enchiladas a la Carte. It was delicious & good portion sizes. So if you’re craving good ol Mexican food, we recommend you give Salsalitos a try!

I expected more for Mexican food in the San Antonio area. The tortillas were chewy, beans tastes like out of a can, rice was bland, enchiladas were plain with no taste, the tamale was okay, and a taco bell taco would’ve tasted better. The guacamole was good. The service was average. The restaurant was not very busy, yet they seated people cramped up. The waitress was eager to have us pay the bill and leave. I don’t normally leave food behind, but i couldn’t stomach another bite. First and last time eating here, plenty of other choices for better Mexican food around San Antonio for $35 a person.

I really liked my lunch today! I had cheese enchiladas with beef crispy tacos. I’m really picky about enchilada sauce, as I hate the soupy brown sauce some places make, but Salsalitos did not make their enchiladas with that. It was a very good meat enchilada sauce; the corn tortillas were cooked (not dry), and the cheese on top was a good amount. The beef in the tacos was good, not bland, and the taco shell was crispy. The borracho beans were unexpectedly spicy and I could not eat them. It was a very good lunch and I will be back!

Sensational meal tonight at Salsalitos Cantina! Delicious queso, warm tortilla chips, outstanding burrito with REAL chicken strips, and yummy quesadilla with ground beef. Huge portions-too much to eat at one time leaving another meal for another day. We’ll be back!

First time visiting and the everything was amazing. The restaurant was very clean, staff was friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious. I had their steak and eggs breakfast and the steak was cooked perfectly and was very tender. I cannot wait to come back for lunch/dinner with friends. I will be recommending this place to them!

First time here had a great experience. The service was fast as we sat the chips and salsa were put on table ,our cups never emptied. Not only was the michilada delicious all I paid for was the beer really. Food came out fast and the best part was when the waitress brought to go box. She also brought me a to go cup to for the michilada . Made my day. I will definitely be coming back.

Food was good, prices were fair. Our waiter at the bar was helpful in ordering. We were split between items, and he custom ordered plates for us. Mine was the choice between cheese and chicken mole enchiladas. He ordered me a #1 special plate with 1 cheese and 1 mole enchilada, a tamale and a crispy beef taco. My friends was debating trying the bacon wrapped shrimp, so he added 2 of them as a side. I suggested to my friend the tortilla soup as well, which many have reviewed and commented was very good, he agreed with the reviews.
