I was extremely surprised with the high reviews of this restaurant. We looked at Google to find a nice Mexican restaurant. This business had high reviews so with little more research we plugged it in Google maps. We arrived and were fairly shocked at the size. It’s very small inside. With room for only about 3 tables. They appeared to be renovating. The prices were pretty high. $3.99 for a regular taco. $16.99 for a taco dinner. Those aren’t the worst prices BUT dinner did not even include a drink. And the salad that it did include, was nothing more than a handful of plain lettice mixed with onions. We ordered 2 taco dinners. The tacos were good, not great. No complimentary chips or salsa. The rice was good, the beans were avenge. All in all not terrible. Definitely not worth their prices. I will say the staff was very friendly and polite.

The food is ok, the horchata is the worst horchata I have tried. It did not taste like horchata. It was very watered down and got worse with every sip. After a few sips, I asked for a different flavor, because of how horrible it tasted, and the owner declined to do so. He declined my request because I had already drank some of it. I explained how much flavor the horchata water lacked and he doubled down and walked away from me mid sentence.

Good service and pretty good food. The only criticism is the saltiness of the food. If they cut back on the salt by about 30% the food would be much better. You can taste that the food is good but still overshadowed by salt. The service was friendly and fast, and the cost was reasonable. This would of been 5 stars without the sodium intake.

Music was very loud inside and out of the building. There are flies everywhere and even a wasp. Salsa was some of the worst I’ve ever had, it very watery and sour. Carnitas tacos were bland, but the sauce made them a little better. In fact, their spicy, hot, and regular sauces were the best items on the menu.

The food would be something I could expect from a food truck nothing special for the expensive prices they have. If you ask for a water cup, they will say they don’t have any only bottle water even when dining in. Forget about the chips and salsa you get at the regular Mexican restaurant cause. You don’t get anything. You need to grab your own napkins and disposable forks as well. The food is served in plastic baskets too. No real silverware.
