Bold Flavor, No Frills. Our motto describes our restaurant, food, and the type of person who eats here. We smoke up delicious pulled pork, brisket, ribs, tri-tip and more meat every day. All hamburgers are made to order, and our Idaho Potato french fries aren’t cut until you say the word. We care about creating delicious food, and don’t fuss with much else.

We’re one of Rexburg’s favorite restaurants, located a quarter mile from highway 20 inside of a gas station. You can grab a meal on the go or dine in (if there’s room). We also provide catering for events large and small. Call and tell us how we can cater your meal, or use the online calculator to estimate the cost.

Probably my #1 favorite place to get BBQ food in Rexburg. They’re in a Mobil gas station.

Came for lunch with my kid. Ordering was easy. Waiting quite a while for only two sandwiches.

I love the food here; its always delicious. We’ve been a million times, and it never gets old. But I found a hair in my sandwich today and the response i got was “sorry to hear that happened. I refunded your order.” The refund is nice but, I feel like its more of a “wow we’re so sorry about that, we’ll make sure our team reviews protocols, that shouldn’t be happening” or just something that accepted responsibility, cuz… thats gross dude.

I got the cheese stake sandwich. The bun was undercooked/ raw in spots and the cheese didn’t pair nicely with the tri tip that was used as the meat element (which was the best part). Super greasy too, I know barbecue is suppose to have some sort of messy element, but it was almost overkill. Didn’t really finish my food and left still hungry, and unsatisfied.

I got the cowboy platter and paid an extra dollar for ribs only for there to be three of them, the size of my pinky finger. I could have forgiven that since it was the end of the day but they were really burned. If you have itsy bitsy ribs that are burned, it’d be more honest to just say you’re completely out instead of serving them. The rest of the food was good though.

We came up for a quick trip to see our daughter and take her grocery shopping when she asked if we’d take her to Blister’s for dinner before we head back to Utah!

Wasn’t expecting much as it’s actually in a gas station but the food was fantastic! They were out of ribs and brisket but the tri tip and pulled pork were terrific. Fried green beans and Mac and cheese were great too.

After several visits, it’s time for a review. Idaho is the Gem State, and sometimes you find a hidden gem; Blister’s is one of those. Nestled in one end of Mother Hibbard’s Country Store, Blisters offers a nice range of tasty meats and sides. You can choose from plates, sandwiches, bowls, eight different sides, and get surprised by Cubans, loaded fries, and a number of burger variations that will boggle your Math skills.

Their old buns are better! I wish they kept their old buns for their sandwiches. The chicken sandwiches aren’t worth the time or money. If you are coming here, you must get the pulled pork and fries. There were a ton of people so seating was very hard to get. It is inside the store of a gas station market.

It’s inside Mother Hibbards and you won’t see a sign for it outside but probably best to not advertise because this place was BUSY. The food was fantastic, especially the tritip sandwich, and very reasonably priced. Just be ready to stand in line at lunchtime. It’s obvious the locals know about the place!
