Went for dinner with my son. We’re seated and ordered right away. He wanted the buffalo chicken pizza. Fresh, hot and crispy. Tasted great. Upon reflection…should have gotten pepperoni and mushrooms. Service was ok. Lots of people working, but had to ask for the bill(not a lot of checking back). Not the best pizza, but good. Two drinks and an 18 inch pizza and tip…$43. Kind of pricey for us.

Excellent pizza. It’s not too greasy and classic new York style. Perfect blend of cheese to sauce. Definitely eat here again. Also the cesar salad was huge and very tasty.

Was a fan of Hawthornes until today. Got the Cajun pasta ‘to go’ and as soon as I saw it I knew something was wrong. The sausage is so burnt it looks (and tastes) like jerky. The vegetables are burnt as well. To top it all off there is half as much sauce, chicken and shrimp as there should be. It is so wrong that initially I thought they changed the recipe. It wasn’t until I tasted it that I knew they screwed up. The fact that they allowed this to be served is the part that bothers me the most. Looking at it through the clear to go container you can clearly tell it’s not prepared correctly. Oh well…this will be our families last time eating at Hawthornes.

Had a great lunch today of nothing but appetizers. We got the meatballs, calamari, mussels and mozzarella sticks. All were cooked perfectly and arrived at the table hot and at the same time. Our server was quite pleasant and helpful, and was very patient while we took our time with the menu. The manager Tim was engaging and was walking the restaurant talking with all tables. Place was clean and music was at a perfect level.

I would like to give a shout out to the entire crew at Hawthornes at Carmel and quail. I am a door dasher and I have picked up and delivered over 3000 orders. A lot of my orders are from Hawthornes and I tend to stick in the area to get orders from there. Your staff at that particular location is phenomenal. I can’t tell you how many times I have been offered a water which when you spend hours on end in your car for peanuts, is the most wonderful thing. No other establishment does that. Most of the times I’m scared to ask any other place. You all are friendly, polite, communicative and responsive… And I pick up a lot of food from a lot of establishments but when I pick up there the smell of such deliciousness makes me so hungry and envious of whom may enjoy it… Cheers to yall at quail Corners Hawthornes and to any customers I say, I highly doubt you won’t enjoy your food.

Food delicious. Son took me to lunch Saturday before Mother’s day. I chose close to home. It was so loud, wished sat outside. I’ve dined here 4 times. Most places have wall between kitchen & dining, it muffled noise. Think about it. It’ll make more pleasant.

We had high hopes given the reviews, but was very disappointed. We live less than 5 minutes from them and arrived right as the tracking said the order was ready. I walked in the door and immediately plated a slice for both of us and scooped out baked ziti for each of us. The order was a 9” Cheese Pizza and Baked Ziti. The pizza was not at all crispy, did seem soggy and the baked ziti tasted like salt. Neither of us could taste the sauce or the cheese or really even the ziti, just salt. Won’t be going back, which is sad since it’s the closest pizza place.
