Been here before and after new management. Fish is good but the rest is subpar. The chips are thin frozen french fries. And I agree with everyone else the tartar sauce is soupy. I was disappointed with the chocolate milkshake— not thick and more milk than chocolate.

I give them a year. First customers of the day; took 30 minutes to get our food, they didn’t have zucchini, they didn’t have mushrooms, they didn’t have ice in the machine, no more fresh lemon, they didn’t know if they had change, there was only one worker. The owner left that poor girl working by herself as a flood of customers came in on a Friday. The owner finally showed up and took his sweet time stepping in to help the girl on the line. My French fries were pale and soggy. And how can you make fish that is somehow both burnt AND flaccid?

Went here with my significant other and the food was so. Good. The fish was crispy and light, and even the size itself was way bigger than I was expecting it to be. The asian guy who I presume runs the place is so nice and you can definitely tell he cares about the customers. The food is also great even as leftovers! When I took my leftovers out of the fridge, the fish was still crispy and hadn’t gotten soggy or soft at all. If you’re looking for a good place for fish & chips in Sac, please give this place a try.

I saw that this place was being renovated and being put under new management. I went yesterday after they reopened and the place looked amazing, so clean and bright! The fish and chips was so tasty and reasonably priced. Definitely will be coming back again!

Amazing service. Was taken here back in October as I heard it was a good spot in Sacramento, that was under new management or ownership now. Fish plate was hot and served to great crisp and crunch. Seasoning of the fish were well and not overboard. As I was enjoying my meal, the owner came and checked on us two or three times as well! Talked to us very down to earth, and had a friendly conversation with us too. This will be my new go to fish and chip spot.

food is great, service was excellent, very clean establishment. I asked the owner regarding the last 3 identical reviews regarding the size of the oysters, the owner was very obliging and showed me the oysters which were bettered and came prepacked frozen and there by no means small as far as oysters goes. I ended up having the oyster combination with fries and it was delicious . Its my new to go place for a meal. yummy!

we went here for a late lunch and the food is amazing. I had the popcorn shrimp with fries. It was perfectly fried which made them amazing. Good spot here in sac. Gonna go back for sure. One of my shrimps looked like a question mark it was super cool.

Food was absolutely horrible. Chips were cold, raw, and unsalted. Fish was super greasy and tartar sauce was grainy and room temperature. I got a soda and it was also warm. Best of all, ants were crawling all over our table and to-go containers were stored in the bathroom. Will never go back.
