It was a quick decision to get dinner at The 5 Spot. I’d never been before and didn’t know what to expect, but I enjoyed a good meal. I tried the Shrimp and Grits (shrimp, Tasso ham, tomatoes, smoked bacon, collards, and green onions in a white wine cream sauce with gouda, fontina, & gruyere cheeses over grits) and enjoyed it. I’d never had collards in shrimp and grits, but it turned out to be a good addition to the dish.

The chicken and biscuits with spicy 5 pepper honey sauce is really, really good. The lumberjack omelette is good too, but it doesn’t come with a toast, so I ordered that separately.

First time trying this place. Grits were a must try. Creamy well seasoned and cheesy. Salmon was moist and delicious. Pulled pork and sauce were a very good pairing. Nor very busy in the afternoon.

AMAZINGGG! I brought my sister and my daughter and let’s just say this place never disappoints! Absolutely loved our servers both times we came! Thank you so much Collin and Becca y’all are great kept my little one entertained and was just on it!! Terrific job! Food came out fast, hot, and delicious! All around a wonderful experience! I love this place. Eat here often because their chicken tenders are divine. Today, I was waited on by two lovely young ladies named Maya and Abby. These ladies were both so sweet and just radiated with kindness and cheer. I’ve been to both locations of the this particular restaurant and this one is my favorite the whole staff seems to work so well together. And they always let me know when I have available points to use. No other restaurant has done that. Love love love this place!!
