We had an excellent dinner here last night. The service was attentive and our food came out fairly quickly, given the place was almost completely full at 6:30 pm. They made sure we never ran out of tortilla chips and salsas, and the guacamole was perfect, with very fresh ingredients. I loved my steak and bacon wrapped prawns. The steak was very tender, seasoned properly, flavorful and juicy. My family also enjoyed their entrees. Highly recommended.

Let me start my review with please give it a try. Listening to the other guest around me, it was obvious their experience was much better than mine. I honestly think I need to go back to see if the experience is different. I also want to add, the 3 stars shouldn’t be taken that it was bad by any means. For this visit, the overall experience was average. Ok, now for the food. The chips were warm, light and delicious. The salsa was fresh and the bean dip was fantastic. I ordered the Queso Blanco, and it was exceptional. Unfortunately from there, everything went down hill. I noticed the spoon that came with the Queso was either dirty or extremely old. It almost looked as if it had a thin coat of rust:(

Food is average and bland, much like mesas. I tried the fajitas and was not impressed. Just basic tough beef slices, couldn’t even bite them apart, just had to chew each strip. Service was quick, they were not crowded, but they were pretty busy. Salsa and chips wasn’t bad, better than many places, but not the best. We don’t see ourselves ever returning to this location. Cristinas is better, overall, although it’s not the best, but it’s the best that we can do in McKinney for now….

This is an exceptional Mexican restaurant! Food is excellent & plentiful – plus beautifully presented. We ended up going back multiple times in one week. Service is also great — management is very attentive. Highly recommended.

Spending the day in Mckinney between daughters dance competition and sons baseball tournament. I always like trying new places. This one sparked my interest for the coziness inside. I went right when they opened at 11. Never been served so fast anywhere. I wasn’t super hungry and chose the small order of Vanessa’s triple plate. Had a small house margarita and love the cup it’s served in. They also have them for sale too, so cool. I’d definitely come back just for the simplicity and the food/service was perfect for me. The menu is short and simple, love it!

The place is great! But, you get a 1 star for being deceptive. Large and small margaritas are the same size, different shaped glass, and of course not the same price. Small on the left and large on the right. Shame on you.

The best thing about this place was the lightning fast service. that’s probably because they don’t spend any time properly seasoning the food. Bland is the best word to describe it all. The dining room was an eclectic mess. Our server was not friendly, and he was difficult to understand.
