Pleasantly surprised by my experience at Pizzeria Sapienza CLT! I went in expecting a Tony’s/Frankie’s type experience (which is good imo) but it was even better! My whole group loved the Sicilian! We also tried the sausage which was great. The Meatball sub was PHENOMENAL, packed so much flavor! 100% would go back just for that bad boy.

Ate here in Charlotte NC. Really liked this New York style pizza. Very tasty. Sligjtly on the salty side but may have been the toppings we chose. Loved the ricotta though. Definitely would come here again!

Talk about some amazing NY style pizza!! This is located downtown and has indoor and outdoor seating. You order your pizza and then you can grab a beer or drink at the bar. Once the pizza is ready they bring it to you. We got the Supreme pizza and was in heaven! The slices are huge and packed with tons if fresh toppings and a thin crust. The price is great for the quality and size of the pizza.

We thoroughly enjoyed this place. They had lots of slices to choose from. We also got garlic knots and they were some of the best I’ve had. One of the employees told me they mixed a little bit of sugar into their recipe. There were multiple types of cake to choose from for dessert as well. We got a meatball sub to go and it was also wonderful.

I had a large supreme pizza delivered to my hotel. The pizza was a perfect New York style pie. After a long day of traveling it hit the spot. It was delivered warm and it had flavor. Everyone I delt with over the phone and at the delivery vehicle were friendly and helpful. I will order from this place again. Oh and the price was a huge surprise – cheap.

The best pizza I’ve had in Charlotte in 12 years. I got the jerk chicken (perfect level of spicy) and the pepperoni/sausage. The crust is perfectly crisp, not too thin. The staff is so friendly and welcoming, and explained what each pizza was for our group. Truly loved the thick NY accent as well! If I worked uptown regularly I would be here every day for sure

Great local pizza restaurant below Sky House condos with outdoor seating, full bar, & sports channels. The food & service are always great at Sapienza. The Bruschetta pizza with Balsamic Glaze is my favorite item on the menu, but the wings DO NOT disappoint!

We were looking for a quick place to grab a bite and came a long this restaurant. The pizza is NY style. The shrimp scampi wasnt my favorite only because i thought there was a little too much lemon, which voided the other flavors. But the pasta panna was delicious. My kids gobbled it up! Also with the bruschetta, i thought it needed a little more flavor other than the sauce. Just a little more salt should do the trick. The vinaigrette flavor dominated everything else. Overall, i thought it was a good find. Friendly staff and everything was fresh.
