Our family had a wonderful experience UNTIL our server went on break without informing us after we had placed a drink order and we watched our shots be served to another table for free After sometime waiting, I walked up to the manager on duty and she wasn’t so helpful in fixing the situation. She brought us the bill minus the shots we ordered and didn’t bother bringing us the shots that WE ordered…Everything was going soooo smoothly, mind you we spent nearly $300 and would have continued spending if we continued receiving the great service from the get-go. Started off so great and ended dead, let down.

Great food, beautiful atmosphere, staff very attentive. I saw two birthday celebrations with the staff singing, and bringing in a cool kalavera with candles!! My only suggestion is turn down the televisions.

Went to downtown Whittier for brunch but decided to drinks before our reservation. So glad we did. Had a round and then left. Liked the vibe so much we returned for another round and spent the afternoon drinking and socializing.

I love Kalaveras, it’s a whole experience… the food is great… the employees make you feel heard and are very nice, they are constantly checking yo see if you need any refills or if you are enjoying your meal. The atmosphere here is exciting… they are always playing music… makes you want to get up and dance… the drinks are a little strong but mostly delicious my experience is always positive when dining at Kalaveras. I keep coming back

Strong mexico city vibes, with good food, friendly staff and one banger after another playing on the speakers. Michelada was tasty, but the chamoy is on the sweeter side, in case that matters to anyone. Chips were not great. But the salsa was ok and the green enchiladas hit the spot, but weren’t real spicy. Not busy on a Monday night, but still good vibes.
